I have smoked a fair number of them and they have always been enjoyable, one of my top favorite PC'S

Punch La Isla MUP Oct 18 generously gifted to me by @ElJavi76 with a herbal tea. Starts off with roasted peanuts some pepper, hay and a honey sweetness. Transitioning into light cream aspects with coffee and roasted peanut sweetness remains and the twangy Cuban flavour also. Finally the sweetness becomes liquorice with the peanut still hanging in there and some pepper back in the mix. Quite a journey and give it a 91.

Nice stick, been through a 10er now

this box has been nice firm roll, with just the draw resistance I prefer.

Very approachable for me even in its youth ,IMHO

and if they only get better with downtime? I won’t complain

Thank you! Finally someone actually giving some input on these. 

Seems like your experience with the firm roll and right resistance are what I've encountered with almost all the Punch SdP's I've smoked through.  

Any comparison to these and a young PLPC? Or are they totally different flavor/strength profiles?

Cause of RG and youth, to me a little richer, fuller, louder at this time, if that makes any sense, but sometimes thats just what the Dr. ordered.

As we know preferences are subjective.

Seems like it already has the legs and will develop into a great smoke with just a little more rest.  Definitely subjective, but thank you for the feedback.

From the first full box of Cubans I ever bought. LTB SEP 13. Have about 10 left and usually they are my celebration cigars but not today. Bad news all around so dug one out in a search for some comfort. Like wrapping me in a warm blanket of better memories, bittersweet, unlike the cigar which is as always simply wonderful, a Polaroid from happier days..

Really sorry to hear that mate.  It'll make no difference whatsoever, but you've always come across as a top bloke, I for one am wishing you well, and a speedy return to better times.

Smoking a Partagas - Serie E No.2 “UAO MAR 18” (it was out of a box of 5) sitting out on my deck while watching my Harris Hawk this evening. 🦅

it was pretty good for a 3 years aged cigar but I think they still need a few more years to be outstanding.  I went bonkers buying “boxes of 5” of these with the “UAO” box code rolled in 2018 and I am glad I have about 120 left of these.
