FOH'ers Daily Smoke

LFD Dominicana Ligero L-Granu At 6x64, my first of the really big rg cigars. Was very surprised it fit in my cutter, but just barely. Also have a 70rg Alec Bradley Texas Lancero that I will have to use my punch on for my very first time since it won't fit my cutter. Very tasty with lots of smoke volume as you could guess from such a large rg. About a mild-medium and full hour smoke time Perfect draw, burn and construction too Probably won't buy any as I just didn't really enjoy the feeling of the large rg in my hand or mouth. Was still a very enjoyable cigar though -

Tatuaje Havana VI Almirantes Churchill Extremely tasty, just like I have come to expect from Tatuaje. Excellent draw, burn needed 1 correction. Construction-wise, as soon as I cut it, and there was plenty of the cap left, the entire wrapper came loose. Took a fair bit of gluing to fix it, which is why I always cut, test draw and use a draw tool if needed on my cigars at least an hour before smoking so in case it needs some glue, it has time to dry. Everything worked out fine though and it was a very enjoyable hour smoke The Leaf Cameroon Cuban Corona Extremely tasty. A little spice upfront with with a unique main flavor I can't describe, and some sweetness in the aftertaste. Perfect draw, burn and construction Overall I really good smoke. Really enjoyed the unique taste Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Bon Chasseur Excellent taste.. just a tad milder than most of the other Tatuaje's I have had. Very smooth, rich smoke Perfect draw, burn and construction All around excellent cigar. Glad I have 2 more -

2014 QDO Imperiales Outstanding! A solid medium with a thick, rich, smooth, balanced taste and not a hint of that "aged" or musty taste I start getting a little of around this age. No idea how they were young, but 7 years later they are just awesome. Probably one of the best aged smoke, or any smoke for that matter, I have ever had. Would definitely scoop up more of about this age if I could. Avoid Syncro Nicaragua Toro Pretty good taste. A little on the fuller side than I prefer. Excellent draw and burn. Unsure on construction as the entire wrapper started to come off immediately after cutting, and there was plenty of cap left. Required a fair bit of glue to repair. Overall, this one just isn't really for me. -

Oliva Serie V Liga Especial Lancero Extremely tasty and on the fuller side. Excellent draw, burn and construction Carlos Torano Signature Collection Torpedo Excellent taste Draw was excellent but for some reason required several puffs to get any smoke. Burn was uneven and required a few corrections Coal was extremely large and smoke was hot Construction, unsure but I suspect it was the cause of the problems, just don't know how Overall, disappointing compared to all the others I have had which were perfect -

2015 HDM Double Corona Said by many to be the best of the Hoyo marca Extremely good taste, a smooth, mellow, mild-medium. Excellent burn, draw and construction,. In spite of being extremely tasty, can't really say it tops the Epicure linea, more like equal to... Also never had a recent production one to compare to LFD Ligero L250 Tubo Very nice, unique taste and a fair bit of spiciness without being too much Excellent burn, draw and construction All around nice departure from most of my smokes, but goes pretty quickly -

Its supposed to kill any tobacco beetles, larvae and eggs. Habanos S.A. says all Cigars are frozen in Cuba before distribution, and I'm told many distributors freeze them again. I have never bothered and been fine for 15 years and it can't just be all luck with the number of Cigars I have had in that amount of time Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk -

I never have and haven't had a problem in 15 years. Most people reccomend it though... Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk -

Many do seem to use coolers with great success, but I personally went with an Iris 74qt, gasketed lid, airtight and 6 closure clips tupperdor. My Bovedas are just as plump as when I got them 6 months ago and it has about 300 cigars in boxes with room for a few more. Also returns to 65% rh in minutes after opening. Great container for like $30 to $40, I forget exactly. Have a second one plus supplies for it on my Christmas list Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk -

I have done both and never noticed any difference. Now I have to store them closed since all I have is a 74qt tupperdor, not my 6ftx6ft cabinet where I could leave them open Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk -

I've smoked plenty of each with 2018, 2019 and 2020 box dates immediately and they were plenty tasty to me. Aging may improve them, but I don't feel that it's a necessity in my experience Also, I leave mine in the boxes and they are just fine Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk
