Montecristo Open Master 
Very tasty and good draw, burn and construction. 
Honestly don't see why the Open line is so universally disliked. I have enjoyed a number of the Masters and Regattas and they have been consistently good smokes in every regard.

Comeback from the park with kids, exhausted. Partagas Short from October 2013 was perfect.


 

Humidity is really high where I live so I decided to smoke NCs more for the next few days.

This is a Mi Barrio Churchill I bought in 2012. It was rolled by Don Pepin Garcia factory back then before it became an in-house brand of FFS and the production was moved to RP factory, which ruined the brand imo. I smoked a few 5vers and bought about quote a few boxes to age. From last year these cigars became fantastic.

Now I am smoking a Oliva Series V I bought in 2011. Not much change but the strength dropped little bit and the flavors are more distinguishable.

It was a straight cut but tight draw so ended up cutting off a bit more to open it up. Is there a problem with the way I did it?

I’ve only tried the Dumas too and thought the same as you. Will be interesting to hear what others think.

Sancho Panza non plus. First time with this marca; got in a singles order a while back. Also was my first successful attempt at the “Cuban Cut” (excuse the surgery hole from my perfect draw).. may not be as classy as Pres but we have to aim for something in life haha!

A box of unpredictable smokes. This one was on the strong side, flavors a lot like a Monte Especiale 2.

I’ve only tried the Dumas too and thought the same as you. Will be interesting to hear what others think. 

Tried all 3. Leyenda is significantly better and I am not a fan of big ring. That’s my humble opinion.

i had a one the other night and it was so amazing i didn't even snap a photo... so far cigar of the year for me. and yes on the sheen.

Sat afternoon JL2 for Whyte vs Povetkin heavyweight fight - they were throwing some bombs. 
 

Sat night for big MMA title fight - that needed another heavy hitter Lusi and boy they just do not disappoint.
