Popular Post Kongelunden
C&C time this afternoon. Enjoyed a SLR Churchill, box code VCR ABR 02. A mild but very enjobale cigar, despite this stick definitely wasn't the best looking one in the box with its slightly cracked head and food ? Still, great flavors, very enjoyable, and considering these where discontinued in 2010 I'm happy that I still have a ½ box left of these.
Popular Post Rhinoww
Hello dear friend. It’s been a while. Finished my last Party short box months ago and was distracted elsewhere. Opened up LMB OCT 17. First stick from the box. Tight draw but I’m happy. Great to get back to you old friend. Tastes are really outstanding. now I’m panicked. Only three unopened boxes left in the stash. This box was part of my first two box purchase to “age”. I picked up two more boxes of party shorts a few months ago. This box lasted 14 months in its virgin state. My aging program isn’t so good. between COVID and cigars I’m starting to become a hoarder. I blame all of you!

Popular Post JohnS
Montecristo Especiales No.2 REG Nov 2018 If there's one Montecristo cigar that I turn to for outstanding dependability it would have to be the Montecristo Especiales No.2. I just can't recall the last time I had one and was left disappointed or questioning how soon I could finish the cigar to smoke something else. For me, it always seems to be finely-balanced in delivering quintessential Montecristo flavours of cocoa, cream and milk coffee and combining them with something akin to an almond nut paste and a hint of citrus twang sometimes. This is how I would describe this Montecristo Especiales No.2 I had tonight. It also seems consistently refined and mild in body and strength, even when they are only 12, 24 or even 36 months of age. It's no wonder so many of us seek this wonderful Montecristo cigar out and equally lament the sparsity of its longer relation; the Montecristo Especiales. For this latter cigar is about the only vitola I could think of amongst regular production Montecristo cigars that could compare with what the Montecristo Especiales No.2 regulars delivers in terms of quality and satisfaction.

Not even sure if I have even a one left in the humidor. Back when I lived in Northern Virginia and even when I traveled back I would visit Paul at his shop in McLean. Had some good PG smokes back in the day.

I can always count on PG for a consistent, well rolled cigar. Mild but tasty.
