My first ever Diplomatico, box code unknown as it came from a FOH prize sampler ? Great construction, and enjoyable experience with a bit of creamy taste, tobacco and a slight hints of coffee. Unfortunately not much cocoa in this one, however, this may be due the colder temperatures here in Copenhagen. The cigar vent straight from 21C degrees in the humidor to -5C outside ? Would probably list the taste profile of this specimen a bit closer to the Upmann #2 rather than the Monte #2. BRC this afternoon (EPT MAR 16). A good old trusted friend ? Delightful; earthy, malty, hints of cocoa, coffee and tobacco. I'm happy to have stocked up a bit on these, and hope the '19 and '20 awaiting arrival from our host will be similar to this.16 points

H. Upmann Replica Antique Humidor Supremas No.2 It was the last cigar I bought from my friend. The cigar was not looking good from outside, but perfect draw. I enjoyed this one in this very peaceful sunny afternoon. I mark this one 90/100, first half is better than second half. 从我的 iPhone 发送,使用 Tapatalk16 points

Partagas Aristocrats in a fresh batch of snow. Nice Partagas spice I hadn't got in my last few Partagas cheap and cheerfuls. @Akela3rd I'll probably be smoking some Rafael Gonzalez Perlas and/or Petit Coronas soon for the same reason ? Edit: smoked a PCE thanks @VKUTT for the suggestion. Less spice more sourdough some earth. Seems they do need some more time. I'll smoke the aristocrats and maybe leave the PCE for later. -15C 5f but not windy. Sparked a new friendship with a BOTL up north who can't smoke because it's -30 so I have to toughen up. ?10 points

I received a wonderful surprise this week, from a friend on another forum. He has a collection of Vintage cigars dating back over a hundred years. We had discussed some of the cigars I was familiar with from the 60s and 70s,and he sent over a surprise package. I did not expect it, but he also included five cigars from the 40s and 50s. The biggest surprise? The RyJ tubo he sent was the first CC I ever smoked, way back in the 80s. I hope you enjoy looking this site over, it is a bit of history that amazes me.8 points

After seeing some other threads on aging ( I’m still new to cc’s ) anyone have any extra wood cabs laying around willing to wipe out dates and codes on the boxes for me to age some other gars in? Took all mine out of cardboard and lying in tupperdors for now.8 points

Killer mail call today all of the PSP/HQ category! BSM JUL 20 VRF’s that’ll go down for a quick nap and SOR OCT 20 Siglo II’s that’ll go down for a long nap. I could smell the Famosos before even opening the box, one of the most fragrant boxes I’ve ever opened ROTT! For those who have em, how have the 2020 Siglo II's been smoking young? Worth even trying one within the next year?5 points

Today’s unknown cigar. Got this one as a gift, but even the owner cannot tell what is this. HOYO DE MONTERREY DOUBLE CORONAS GRAN RESERVA COSECHA 2013 Last cigar before Chinese New Year. Hope everyone a prosperous 2021. Two cigars a day, makes me a happy boy. Double happiness to celebrate Chinese New Year. Churchill Bar all by myself. 从我的 iPhone 发送,使用 Tapatalk4 points

Cold but not to bad in the sun for a short cigar so I grabbed a POU MAY 12 HQ Siglo I. Definitely stronger than the larger Siglo’s even when this old. These have the legs to get a lot older. Great cigar. Tonight a UTE MAR 17 PSP RASS from a cab. Dark and oily goodness. Only had to ash it once and that was only because the smoke output started to go down.4 points

Mag 54 BRE DIC 19 while watching Apocalypse Now for the Who said that competition. Mag54 was unremarkable, tight draw with basic tobacco notes and a lingering harshness. Movie was pretty good, surprised on how long it was for an old film! Got 3 more to watch - I plan to watch all the movies since they seem like classics that I should watch.4 points

This is my second lucky week! Look at what the postman delivered today!!! ? This is the fourth (two this week) shipment to arrive of my pyramid / torpedo buying spree in January. ?? They look and smell amazing!!! It is going to really hard to not smoke one until they get acclimated and especially because the Montecristo No. 2's are getting such high accolades from our host and a number of other people that I respect their opinion on the 2019 and 2020 stock. Especially since these Montecristo No. 2’s have the same factory code and year “SMA 19” as the review that our Pres and Ken did last year and they gave those Montecristo No. 2’s that they were smoking a 95 score ?? And these are less than 2 years old too and I usually do not smoke any of my cigars until they are at 3 -4 years aged but I will definitely smoking one of these after they get acclimated in about 60 days. ? Also in 60 days it may finally be warm enough to smoke a cigar, Hahaha ?4 points
