  1. What I meant is that the grey market may take unsold supply from retail. When CC prices for were lower, that was just Spain and similar low duty places. But now a lot of markets with duties can supply old stock.
  2. It's not just that. Some of it is higher duty grey market supply. Siglo V popped up for the first time in the last 3-4 years at one vendor, for $1,999 a box this past week. But there was Siglo V available $1,000+ at duty-inclusive prices pre-covid. I got a box in Greece last September/October.
  3. I think the idea is than with inches, it's standard to do binary fractions to a certain degree. So 1/4", 1/8", 3/8", 3/16". Where 1/16" is about 1.6mm. But you get smaller one like 1/32, and 1/64 (Cigar RG is in 64ths of an inch). So it's more of a function of the conventions than the units. Edit: That's to say if you need a part exactly 1.8% larger, then it's not going to map to a convenient fraction.
  4. Tried the same coffee in their proprietary roast. Much better! Very good balance. Although I was starting to get used to that ludicrous dark roast towards the end.
  5. Just for Guru's sake. Gmail started checking reverse DNS recently. I hit it first replying to someone in the UK at some point last week. It may have rolled out to more places now.
  6. Yeah I learned from @Nevrknow to use a hemostat (tweezers that lock).
  7. I have not had a good experience with car dealerships. Tesla doesn't have dealerships so they are not able to sell in certain states because of the dealership lobby. Anyways that's a problem between the manufacturers and their dealer networks. The Rolex case is closer to the Habanos case, in trying to stop arbitrage (while driving up prices to the higher markets).
  8. @El Presidente I think the harmonized global pricing is what is unique to Habanos. The set price per country/region is what is done by Tesla and being proposed by VW.
  9. 2008 Punch SS1 from a trade with @ChanceSchmerr I hope your end of the trade weathers the storm of your upcoming move. Also really felt that first day of summer, 28C, low 80s F at midnight.
  10. @ChanceSchmerr is moving from Canada (British Columbia) to Canada (Ontario). So he should be good if the movers are driving across Canada.
  11. That happens when you go too deep (it's especially a problem on shorter cigars, and generally won't happen on longer cigars unless you go in from both ends). But what I do to avoid it, is to keep using the perfecdraw on the head, a half inch or inch in, and not going any further. Generally the tightness is at the head and even if it isn't gutting the heard usually helps enough with the draw.
  12. As a buyer I'd definitely want to know. But most online vendors don't (or didn't) really disclose when they got each of their vintage boxes or how they were stored from production date until the present (except for FOH and one or two others, you're really rolling the dice on past storage conditions).
  13. Sadly no... 😢 Edit: last one was actually the erdm lunch club discontinued in 2009 https://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/cigar/list?types=current%3Bdiscontinued&factorynames=franciscanos&includeImages=True
