Haven't posted in a while - went back to work.  My second time coming out of retirement.  Working in Maryland I've found a great bunch of guys to smoke with at a local cigar store - always buy their NC's while I'm visiting the local B&M.  With the high price of Cubans I've found a few interesting NCs that I've bought some boxes to allow for those humid days in Florida.  At least it is giving the CCs in the humi  time to age back in Florida!

This is my first Limitada experience. I start a new gig tomorrow so I thought I’d have a couple nice smokes to celebrate. Going to have a 2017 Siglo V this evening to cap the day off.

In the final third now and enjoying it thoroughly. Lots of wood and nuts happening.

Unfortunately I haven’t had anything to eat yet so I had to slow down and pop a couple peanut butter covered chocolate pretzels. ITS SMOKING EVEN BETTER NOW! lol

Since the post about the Montecarlo recently I wanted to grab one and since it was a decent day I did just that. Yep, I like ‘em.

My only one of these, a Gloria Cubana Britanicas Extra, unknown box code but a 2017 Regional Edition. What a fabulous size and shape: figurado tapered at both ends, 48 ring gauge at the widest and 5 3/8 inches long. Very civilised and it looks great.

Unfortunately this example was not filled properly, and had a noticeable void running through the first half or so, which messed with the burn. It was still a good smoke though, with really good LGC flavours. On the woodier and more herbal end of the marca, less intense than a good MdO#4, less animale. Still lots of interesting and intense flavour and a good transition, and I smoked it in the spring sunshine until my fingers were nearly burning.
