A fresh SLR, my second from the box, poolside before it snows a bit tomorrow night. Yes, I opened my pool very early due to construction at my house starting this week, but jeez snow. It’s 65 now. Crazy April.

Good to hear. I got two 10 count boxes of Montecristo No. 2 "REG JUL 19"  and have not tried one yet and probably will not until 2023 or 2024.

The draw is tighter than a virgin’s u know what, not a good stick, may end up tossing it.

First third was glorious, shortbread and nuts. Lasted a very long time.

Which was weird because I weighed the cigar 😂 and it was light at 14g. And for the first little while I thought I'm crazy to weigh these things, I guess it doesn't tell you anything, because it's smoking as if it was well bunched.

But then I hit the second third and it's very underfilled, and that's where all the missing tobacco was missing from. Construction aside it was smoking very well for the part that was well constructed.

I could smell/taste the shortbread from the foot while lighting it.

It can be. i have had a box or two that smokes nice ROTT then went into a bitter or closed period right after. These are young, bury them and revisit every six months. They might come around.
