Pre-Thanksgiving cigar. SUM DIC 16. What a remarkable little cigar. Noticeable sugar cane sweetness, extremely refreshing taste, plenty of smoke. This is the season to be grateful. Happy Thanksgiving FOH!!! So fortunate to be visiting an old time artist who shared his cellophane Monte 4 with me tonight. the smell is just heavenly as it is exactly perfume like. Full volume of smoke with effortless draw, it is such an amazing cigar. Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow FOHers’!23 points

Smoking one of the last “bundle paper wrapped” cigars I bought on my last trip to Havana. Mostly gave it out as a novelty to my cigar buddies then really smoking them. Very rough and have a very strong metallic taste to it. Have a very distinct floral cuban aroma to them, which I must say is not unpleasant.13 points

Sad day. We had proposed an annual Miss Nudie contest along the lines of the famous "Miss Muriel cigars" contest. Naturally it was solely to promote our Nudie/Desnudo line of cigars. it would have been tastefully done as Fuzz was to be the contest director. However, due to "fierce" internal resistance from certain staff members (no names but sounds like a letter in the alphabet), the concept has been canned. Steve, who was only recently promoted to the "Miss Nudie" working committee is devastated. Back to the drawing board7 points

Up until 1970s foil wrapped cigars had a layer of tissue, then a layer of pure metal foil on the outside. Ie, when you remove the foil, you then have a tissue wrapped cigar, and you have to remove the tissue before you can smoke it. As opposed to what we have today which is aluminised paper and comes off all at once. So I'd say what has happened is the metal is decaying and the paper is exposed. Have never seen anything like that happen before. On that basis the paper actually looks very clean and fresh, would expect it to be stained with the oils from the cigar or by whatever process the metal is going through. Definitely a weird one.5 points

Dr. Piggy says 'afraid of putting that in your mouth?' Try Cuban cigars! Made is a hot, humid, cash-strapped, communist country by 20 peso a month sweaty employees! Imagine them leaves, planted in cow shit, crawling with bugs, build with blood, sweat and tears... literally. And the only way you will fuel for taste for them, is to consume them... by the hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands... You will eating everything from sushi, to your wife's.... .... .... cooking afterwards. It is the only way to overcome the fear! And you will enjoy life more, every step of the way. Bug on your toast, only a coward uses "Shoo-away..." Nose hairs in your soup, lap it up. That curly hair in your teeth, relish it... Cuban cigars will condition you for all the zest life brings your way!!! Dr. Piggy5 points
