An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

How was it? I have one but holding off after a bad experience with a Diademas. Heard these were good.

Definitely different, I don’t reach often for  Cuaba or what it umbrellas , but glad I have a few. Seems to have the “twang” sort of like a tangy meat marinade that catches the taste buds on the side of tongue.

Trova is such a classy cigar …..flavors are very rich and have quite a lasting finish …..they pick up decently in flavor intensity by the final 1/3 but only complaint (and from many) is the lighter body ……my recommendation is to know what the right occasion and setting for such a cigar is ….this is a cigar that should probably best be smoked indoors with a less over powering pairing than the stout I chose lol you should set yourself up to savor and think on This kind of smoke …..but what do I know !?

Have a little patience with these (3 years?) and you’re in for a treat …just as much fullness as an 898 although a different flavor profile …less complexity definitely ….but this is full on black coffee in a cigar if I’ve ever had jt ….really nice smoke gents

Big fan of J Wakefield beer.  Can be very experimental in a good way as I recall. ...Haven't seen their product up in SC for a while unfortunately.  (That stout looks like a "big" one, unusually so.  How was it?)

Awwright, my first Lusitania.
I gave it 90 minutes and still had most of the final third. Unfortunately my smoking window was up. Draw and construction was perfect. Not the slightest touch-up needed. Wonderful chocolate and almonds on the first third. It got more austere into the second, with notes of coriander seed and cumin (I did make Indian food tonight, hmm). Some spice, and eventually some bitter notes, which is possibly me puffing too much. Very much looking forward to the next one, for which I will set aside 2 1/2 hours

Just had my first one recently also.

It was a 2016

Thought it was great and definitely lived up to the hype.
