Isabela Transporter Figurado - okay so first off Isabela is a small boutique company out of Miami that uses primarily (in fact, maybe exclusively) Nicaraguan tobacco. The owner pre ages all of the tobacco extensively and it is immediately evident when you light one of these up. Oh, I should mention they *lightly* sweeten the caps but I read that it's an homage to the old Cubans and it's barely noticeable.
 

I wouldn't normally explain all of that but I feel this company is woefully overlooked and any cigar fan owes it to themselves to check this brand out.

This one is an LE I believe and has a very creamy-custard like profile, maybe some vanilla here and there...very dessert like!

Flor de Ybor City No.75 Maduro (7x36)

My first maduro of this marca I believe.

Regardless, extremely tasty and perfect draw,burn and construction as has been my experience with all of this marca I have smoked.

Truly a hidden gem in my opinion

A nice, smooth, mellow mild-medium with great taste and a nice woody undertone

Started the weekend with a UEB OCT 19 Partagas Lusitania that was the best cigar I’ve had in a long time, fantastically rich and complex. Then followed it up with a ‘19 BPC that wasn’t far behind the Lusi.

call me crazy and maybe it's because of diner (Chinese pork, salty) but man is this sourdough bready. Never had this with a HUHC, last time I got spearmint.

Definitely different, I don’t reach often for  Cuaba or what it umbrellas , but glad I have a few. Seems to have the “twang” sort of like a tangy meat marinade that catches the taste buds on the side of tongue.

Awwright, my first Lusitania.

I gave it 90 minutes and still had most of the final third. Unfortunately my smoking window was up. Draw and construction was perfect. Not the slightest touch-up needed. Wonderful chocolate and almonds on the first third. It got more austere into the second, with notes of coriander seed and cumin (I did make Indian food tonight, hmm). Some spice, and eventually some bitter notes, which is possibly me puffing too much. Very much looking forward to the next one, for which I will set aside 2 1/2 hours 🤪

Big fan of J Wakefield beer.  Can be very experimental in a good way as I recall. ...Haven't seen their product up in SC for a while unfortunately.  (That stout looks like a "big" one, unusually so.  How was it?)

2007 el Laguito CCE (PLM ENE 07). Hazelnut coffee with cream. Totally unexpected. If I were smoking this blind I would probably have been stumped.

Just had my first one recently also.

It was a 2016

Thought it was great and definitely lived up to the hype.

Sorry for the terrible pic. Sun was still coming up. This comes from a SOU NOV 20 box that I got from here. Basically smoking one ROTT. I wanna say they came in less than two week ago. They are already delicious. It’s always a treat when you can tell very early on that a box is going to be fantastic.
