Has there been a re-release of 1966, like the Talisman? The Cohiba band looks incorrect. But glad you enjoyed it, on a beach nonetheless.

Yeah the worst part of the whole thing was him denying it. Totally goober. I actually think I recognize that caddy but it was hard to tell. Yeah I felt terrible for him too. He was just in shock. So was his opponent.

No, that was my sense of humor.  

I have been pretty vocal about how I am not crazy about my box of (real) 1966's because I don't like the ELs with really dark wrappers, and my 1966s have them.  So I was sarcastically saying that this "1966" given to me by "some guy on the beach" was better than my real ones.

ERDM - CS (TOU ABR 18). @JohnS Albeit at bit to young for my preference the flavour is much more pleasant than the one I smoked the other day from a box from 2013. This one is much closer to what I remember from smoking them in the past. This box however is in another humidor than the box from 2013. I’ll try to find another cigar to smoke tomorrow in that humidor with the 2013 box.

Yesterday. I have to be honest the cloud hopper NC, Warped, was much better than the Sir Winnie, EOS MAY 19. All bitter bitter espresso. This is the first one of the 5 I have smoked that actually smoked though. They need a lot more time for my taste.

I definitely prefer these over the Montecarlo which for me have been more dry/toasty and lacking that richness I get from the panetelas. Also it has nice balance between bite and sweetness.  Maybe my Montecarlo need more down time?

Really fighting the tropical humidity here in London. Unusual! But when I can get it lit, this Party Short is the absolute business. UBM FEB 18 and a magic 50 cab. Rich as anything, balanced right between sweet and savoury, touch of Bolivaresque liquorice malt... Paired with a gorgeous Pulteney 1999 Gordon & MacPhail whisky.
