After smoking a SW, if you have ever said to yourself, “Wow, that was the best Sir Winston I have ever smoked.”, that is how this GR tasted to me.

This is what I have experienced with most R/GR’s.  When I buy a box of regular production cigars, there are always a few in the box that really stand out.  With the R/GRs, the whole box tastes like the stand-out cigars of it’s regular production counterpart.

Paired with a Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA

Cheap and cheerful. Rolled the dice on adding this box to an order and it is proving well worth the $54!

Toasted tobacco and cherry cream with pops of vanilla. Medium bodied.

RASS MSU NOV 18 - Another beautiful day here. The third stick from this box. Pretty good, tasted like coffee cake most of the way. Each one has been better so they are moving the right way.

BCJ MSU JUL 18 - Tried one a couple weeks after arrival in October, metallic and not great. What a difference a few months made -- really nice little cigar ?

Had a Opus X Lost Cities at a buddies house. It was predictable as the other's I've had. Not a bad cigar at all but...zero damn complexity. It scores great for flavor but zero complexity. Oh well...gotta burn through the rest of the boxes I have.

Finished my chores, time to reflect. Not proud that it took me 3 hrs and 2 trips to the hardware store to fix a leaking garden hose reel, but hey, it’s not in the landfill...yet.

Having an Opus X La Diosa (the Goddess) and a Big Swell IPA. The cigar is unique and ok, but not what I look for in an Opus X, the beer is great as usual. I won’t be going back for any of the former. Cheers!

An exquisito and some bourbon to wash away the mediocre and grossly overpriced  La Dioso I just labored through. My recommendation to anyone visiting Casa Fuente in Vegas, after being told they have this extremely rare maduro OX named La Dioso....take a hard pass.

More complex imo! They’re smoking spectacularly. Next time they’re produced I’m picking up at least 2 boxes.
