Friends of Habanos Name change?

The legal boffins as HSA recently requested (legally)  that we remove reference to  "Habanos" in our name and the URL. I think COH recently went through the same thing. 

Yes, we are registerd "Habanos Specialists" with HSA and well entitled to use it. However, I am more than happy to drop the Habanos  appelation/reference and reposition our entity for the next 20 years.  I do however appreciate PCC putting up a good fight on our behalf. 💪

FOH will obviously be kept.  Friends of Habana?  Maybe something completely different. 

Faced with such a dilema () I have resorted to what I do best and called for a series of long lunches to "brainstorm" the evolution of FOH.  The first lunch is today but I am quite sure that no clear resolution will be found (hopefully) and that another lunch next week will be required (at least!).  I think we need a FOH Zoom session as well 

We have a little bit of time. 

This is not a decicion that I would like to make unilaterally. It is your house so if you have some positive input to be made, please go ahead and make it.

My vote is for "Friends of Nudies." If things continue on their current path, that's all you'll have to sell anyway!

Well, we would all adapt. Havana, Habana, Habanos, Habananas. This is a great place and others will find it so.
 

My one request would be to drop the smoking monkey logo. It’s not cool. Humans can choose to smoke, but animals are not for our entertainment.

I think somehow keeping the initials “FOH” would be great. Just rolls off the tongue and have become accustomed to @Elpresidentesaying “Welcome to FOH” at the start of every video.  And I personally love the smoking monkey logo and hope that it does not change.

I'm not sure what to rebrand it to? Friends Of Havanas maybe seems the closest fit.

Does this mean all the youtube videos need to be rebranded as well? That will be a massive undertaking.

FOH will certainly remain.  

Monkey as well.  World Wildlife Federation checks on the Monkey every 12 months and they believe he is in a positive emotional environment.

The name doesn't matter to me but keeping the FOH is nice.  When creating a name, company brand, and logo, there are times I'd like to go back and 'tweak' a thing a two.  Golden opportunity!!!
