2424 Changes

[El Presidente]

You are all aware by now of the current global shortage of Cuban cigars. We have been requested by our distributor to reduce our volumes until the supply situation out of Havana improves. All distributors and retailers are in the same boat right now. Everyone is screaming with global supply  down to around 35-40% of what it was 6 months ago. The reasons are varied (covid/freight inefficiencies/incompetence/other)  and the truth will be a mix of those. 

Taking the above into account, we will only run 2424 Tuesday  to Friday until further notice. Tue/Wed/Thu will be at 10:30am local 8:30PM NY (day earlier) and Friday 8:30am local and 6:30PM NY (Thursday). 

It is not ideal I know however I am sure we all understand the current situation. There is not much we can do except hope that the powers that be get their act together. 

Remember...they are only cigars!

Well I am grateful that we still have 24:24. As I mentioned before. FOH does not have to do it given the global shortage and everybody understands but you are still doing this.

Was waiting for this thread.   Monday's always sneak up on me so if we had to lose a 24:24 day its the one I would pick.   Glad I have been buying more than usual this year.   I hope that Cuba's covid issues resolve quickly but I fear the other underlying issues will not resolve for a long time.   Rob thanks for being up front and communicating with customers as you always do.   I guess my email skills are going to have to get even better.
