Two years ago a guy I knew through some forum approached me and asked whether I wanted to buy his 10+ boxes of bolivar gold medals for $2500. I had international trip waiting for me and told him whether he could hold for 2 weeks. The cigars were sold the next week and I wish I paid instead of asking him to hold.

Yes. 2010. Charles de Gaulle airport. Like Gojira, it doesn't happen to me much anymore!

At Le Roi du Cigars Brussels in 2006. Sitting in the humidor for sale at only €15,000. Couldn't really see myself splashing that much at the time. Can't imagine what these go for today.

Pretty much everything in this picture. Why didn’t you buy them? ”On account’a.” On account’a? “Yeah, on account’a I didn’t have any money...” 😔

Oh, probably 25 times. It doesn't happen any more. When I see something I want and the price is right I'll buy it. I didn't pull the trigger on a lot of things not only cigars and have always regretted it!

I cannot resist...
YES!
How about the BGM at about $60 a box... -LOL History teaches us some harsh lessons!

Times and dates have been concealed to protect the innocent!!! There was a day, no one wanted them! -LOL

I was looking to see if I ever got a screenshot of our host blowing out PCC's overstock of Coronas and other 'unwanted' cigars. All I can say is put the sharp objects out of reach!!!

Thank you, I feel much better now.

Yes.

Back many years ago in LCDH Pinar del Rio. I find 2 LGC Deliciosos jars for $250 each.

I buy one with my cash but cannot buy the other one as I didn't have enough cash (CUC) and credit cards were not accepted ( yet ).

I am still kicking my ass...

Not a slap but more a slightly aggressive mental nudge.
Barcelona 2016. Montecristo Sevilla Jar €300 on the counter at Gimeno Tabac. I bought two boxes of du Prince instead, which considering their subsequent discontinuation I was quite happy with. Still wish I'd bought that jar though...

I think you did the right thing then.....and now

too many to mention them all,  but I'm more frustrated with stuff that I did buy, and subsequently sold.  50 original release Bolivar Tubos Especial,  being close to the tip of the tree........I don't know what I was thinking.    A very poor decision indeed

Back when I first hopped on the forum I missed out on some ones I've kicked myself for...especially HUPC's.

I’ll second that on those particular sticks. Not enough Selectos Finos. Too many others to count as well. Can’t have em all. Can’t win em all either.

I am kicking myself the same way.

Was in Cayo Santa Maria at one of the resorts, 2 LGC jars and only bought one. 😡 The clerk thought I wanted both, but the words I still regret "No I will take only one".

No lack of money excuses as CC worked just fine

Especially when a few years later I saw what the Jars were selling for. 🤬

I regret all the 50 cabs I didn’t buy before they were discontinued.

I regret not loading up on SIG VI’s when they were $350.00 a box. I do have 6 boxes, but it’s never enough.

The one that always comes to mind is Edmundo Dantes 109 at the LCDH for $450.

In my defense, $450 was a lot of money for a box of anything in 2007. I believe Esplendidos were around that price then.

There was one 24:24 posting several (~6) months ago and I did not even try sending the email .. wtf?

SLR DCs. I think they were like $460 a cab. I hemmed and haw'd because I didn't want to get stuck with 50 double coronas that I didn't like. They sold out and never came back. In hindsight I obviously could have moved them pretty easily if I didn't like them.

I wish I would have bought 20 boxes of Behikes in 2013-2014 when they were around $300.
