Yes I was fortunate. The 15-count option was on special, and hence a 'blind buy', but it was too good to pass up over the standard 25-count slide lid box option which was the normal 'everyday' retail price.

i must confess, I find HDM pretty difficult to pick these days.   I find myself caught between value buys and high end buys......and end up never buying anything at all. 

Strangely the two deals that regularly crop up, that tempt me are Palmas Extra, and Petit Robustos..........even then I've held fast for months withought pulling the trigger

RG Panatela Extra x2 GOS OCT19 - Only ever had a bad RGPC, but people were saying to give the marca another shot so here we go.  The difference in wrapper shade is pretty noticeable, wonder which one I'll like better.

HQ/PSP Partagas Serie D No.4 SOU OCT 20. 
Some damage to about 1/4 box. Luckily my cigar glue handled almost all the problems. Cigars have a wonderful sheen to them.

@Lrabold89 overall I’m happy with the purchase. The others that had some damage didn’t  come close to that one in the pic. If they were Siglo VI or winnies I’d be pissed but they are D4s and seemed to be repaired fine.

I liked the looks and the smell of the first couple of boxes that I received last month so I got another couple of boxes of Partagas Serie P No. 2. The cigars look just like the first two boxes, they look and smell amazing too!!!

Again, it s going to really hard to not smoke one until they get acclimated. 

Also, like the first two boxes, these are less than two years old too and I usually do not smoke any of my cigars until they are at 3 - 4 years aged. ☹️

@Lrabold89 there was no binder damage just wrapper damage. So the glue worked perfect. I can’t recommend it more. It’s saved a ton of cigars I have. Super cheap online. I got it off Amazon. As far as the stick, best D4 I’ve had in a long time. I’ll never understand Cuban cigars

Been a while since I shared a new arrival. Today’s is one more example of how great 2020 was for CC - one of the silver linings (champagne’s vintage apparently being another).  

LTO has been a stellar code thus far, and these are right up there with my MAR Siglo III’s from last year. Only regret is I can’t smoke them now! 

Quintessential Cohiba wrapper hue and more sheen than I can capture on a camera (how about a how-to thread for taking pictures?).
