Doctortrent Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 What is you favorite sporting event to watch or Attend
Habana Mike Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 For me it has to be the Masters in Augusta. Nothing else like that. 4
Doctortrent Posted October 28, 2019 Author Posted October 28, 2019 Stanley cup playoffs The Masters 1
AlohaStyle Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Masters is definitely up there. Super Bowl is up there too but I've never seen my team in it, so pfft! Not even a big soccer fan, but the World Cup is pretty great.
Meklown Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Used to attend lots of football matches when I was living in London. Used to love the sound of the Champions League anthem echoing around the stadium. Unfortunately my team (Arsenal) are no longer in the Champs League and do not seem like they want to get back in.
Cubadust Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 That would be Allsvenkan, the swedish football leauge. It*s the only sporting event i follow. I do watch Champions League, but I don't follow it.
99call Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 Easy. Lions rugby tours. No other format like it in the world. The greatest touring team in the world bar none
cigcars Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 * Mixed Martial Arts events...but to watch (on TV) - not to attend. I don't think I could handle that in person and be right there...as it was pointed out to me: "Those punches and kicks are a lot harder than they look." I just know that when the 1996 Olympics came to Atlanta I got to be right there with the just training boxers there. I was some 25 feet distance from them and they decided to do practice punches. Again, these were just the amateurs and folks in training: when their fists connected - you know the sound those wide wooden flatboards make if you strike them with another hard object? That was the sound their punches made - and was as loud as if I was right up on them instead of some 25 to 30 feet away! I went, "Whoa! My God!!!" And this is how HARD they're gonna be connecting on their faces and stuff, I thought!? No - I love watching evenly matched warriors combating each other; but I can only watch where it's nice and muted from the boob tube 1
Rhinoww Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 First weekend of the NCAA CoLlege basketball tournament at a sports book in Las Vegas. it is truly March Madness. 1
TBird55 Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 College football, specially Auburn, love the pageantry....tailgating, tiger walk, marching bands, cheerleaders, and of course the eagle flight in the stadium befour the game. Along with 85,000 of your closest friends. War Damn Eagle... 1

Hammer Smokin' Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 The oldest Gridiron trophy in the World. The Grey Cup!
FatPete Posted October 28, 2019 Posted October 28, 2019 For me it’s Test Cricket-especially the Ashes
TNT009 Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 US Open.. Love seeing the golf pros struggle like the average guy!
benfica_77 Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 World Cup / Euro Cup for soccer. The stanley cup finals would also be on this list if one day the Toronto Maple Leafs decide to make it that far.
CaskStrength Posted October 29, 2019 Posted October 29, 2019 World Junior Hockey Championship. It's been an annual tradition for me since the 1994 lockout. Unfortunately us ice hockey fans don't get a reliable best on best tournament so this is as close as it gets. For a single game, NCAA football natty. I love seeing young, hungry guys playing for love of the game.
