I'm feeling better today,  Not as dark, tense, and angry as I have been the past several days. Today was better. Chores around the house, building a new humidor, repaired a door frame, and just being

Glenglassau 30 year old ...and Old Putney 17 year old-paired with fresh Oysters in the shell

I love OP 17, it's not as good as the 21, but it's good!

Whiskers Blake 8 yr old Tawny. Used to be called a proper port wine, but I think the Oporto people made enough of a stink and this fine Australian "tawny dessert wine" dropped the "port" appellation. Worked for me cuz it seemed to drop the price here by a few dollars a bottle.

Has all the trappings of a good mid-shelf Tawny Port at a fraction of the price (which leaves more money lying about for cigar purchases!)

Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum from Barbados.

2014-04-26215955_zps6c62596e.jpg

To my taste better than Zacapa XO, HC Selección de Maestro, Matusalem 15, Zaya, El Dorado 15, Zafra the original Pyrat or any other I can recall...pretty amazing stuff!

Looking for my bottle of Dominican mamajuana rum.... Can't find the sucker but I want some... Had that bottle for over 25 years it's still great to spice up any rum I pour into it. Given to me by a Dominican fells I used to work with many moons ago..

Mortlach 21 Signatory cask strength bottling 53.9 ABV

Matched with Partagas GR.

Beautiful, rich, full, oily mouthfeel in the Mortlach, almost syrupy, ...sherry cask kissed goodness at its finest!
