2nd Padron in as many days. Why did I cut the entire head off the cigar? Well, after I dropped it and cracked the head, I tried to punch it, then I tried to V-cut it, but the mutilation was too extensive. Long story short, bourbons were involved. Oh well. This Exclusivo has been in my humi for over a year, and it’s just where I like it.

PLPC. These are under 3 years old. The box is smoking fantastic. I was planning on aging some but I see no need. They are excellent construction-wise and in flavor. This one was easy 92 points.

Tried my first Partagas Serie D No 4 (from our host), this afternoon, what a great cigar. Notes of cocoa, cedar, and light pepper to start, pepper faded after the first few puffs, then transitioned into floral notes about midway though. Burn and draw was spot on the entire way through. Very good cigar.

I like this. Had a coupon that expired in 15 min so went ahead and bought a box for nearly half off!  This is the sombremesa elegant en cedros but got a box of the Corona gordas/Lonsdale size which I prefer, hope they have similar profiles

Excellent stick. I never shared my top 25 for the last year, because the Punch Punch was kind of the cannonball that blew it all apart. I’d never had one until last Fall, and little by little, it crept up the ranks into my top 5.

2019 J-O sig V. Took about half the stick to get going then BOOM.

My first Signature No. 2.  Just an incredibly tasty start and a very nice middle.  The final 3rd made me finally understand what Charlie M. brings up about certain Davidoff's as the Olor seco really was pronounced.  Enjoyed the first 2/3rds very much, and love the vitola ...but will be seeking out more of the No. 1 LE's and (totally different, but excellent) Millennium maduro lanceros.  (No doubt it's a personal thing; just opinions, in case helpful.) 

Totally separately, has anyone had the PG Gran Panatellas?  Would welcome insights.  Thanks!

Partagas Aliados , this cigar is underwhelming. Glad I didn’t buy a box and instead just a few. Very disappointing.

Nudie 2021 Maduro Lancero. Excellent flavour, if this was blind I’d have bet hard on a Monte Esp.1. Really great cocoa and sweet earth aroma. It got a bit hard to draw at the end, I think because it was higher than my usual RH (I was storing it in a humi pouch within my normal setup). But overall really excellent and a good long smoke (would have been 2hrs to the end).
