Lost a close friend, colleague, and mentor over the weekend, Dr. Janice Franklin. Cancer sucks, and it happened fast. Spending a beautiful morning reminiscing about her, the lessons and laughs over the decade I knew her. As a professor of Music and Humanities, as well as a fierce friend and tireless confidante to many, there is no telling how many thousands of lives she changed, including mine. Not trying to be a downer, but instead celebrating her amazing life with a fantastic smoke, courtesy of our excellent host.

It's a Monday, ...so decided to try some NC's. 

I thought this My Father Le Bijou 1922 100 LE would be fun, ...and it was.  Beautiful construction and good strength, ...but then (just for the heck of it) decided to also light a Fuente Angel's Share Short Story, which blew the MF LB out of the water in my opinion.   

While there's no twang in either of the cigars -- and the MF Bibou is quite tasty -- the Fuente is the hands down winner IMO.
