ABR 21. My favorite Lancero.

After smoking the Rosado version yesterday, this morning I gave the Maduro Carlota Nudie (stored for 60 days) a try. Comparatively, this presents quite a distinct flavor profile (I am wondering how much beneath the wrapper is different than the Rosado cigar). Prominent flavor was umami (think barbecue) with a hint of sweetness (raisins?) and maybe a tinge of cocoa. Burn, draw, and construction were very good, and the smoke could almost be chewed. Unlike the Rosado, this one calmed down nicely in the last third. It's a good cigar, for sure.

After some morning rain, ended up being a sunny afternoon, so I decided to light up a Punch-Punch LGB SEP 20. It’s only the second stick I’ve had from this box, but my goodness, I think the hype is real. Awesome smoke all the way through, no edges to be found.

I recently smoked a Trinidad Topes El 2016 from a friend, the cigar was not well maintained and there was no delivery, only smoke, I have in my memories the taste of this Trinidad when it was released, a delicious experience, too bad OUR last experience was very similar.
