Continuing my one ER per day while on vacation mission.  Dawned on me a few weeks ago that I have oodles of ER boxes that have never been cracked.  Time to sample through them!

The RG 88, APAC’s ER for 2016.  Seemed to get mixed reviews at release (and maybe still?).  So far, it’s been a delightful smoke.  

At this point, LGC Orgullosos have been top of the heap.  The LGC Gloria’s from 2015 were the most underwhelming (fine mechanicals but let down in flavor).  The RA Perfecto, Mexico’s 2020 ER was the under-performer of the group.  A bit gnarly to get through both on the mechanics and palette.  My antennae say they just need time.

Also included in the sampling:

Bolivar Lusidias, Portugal 2017 - nice smoke, very bready, to my palette, not traditionally bolivar.

Beautiful early evening here in the Lowcountry.  A rare NC for me on an unseasonably warm and pleasant evening.  

An "AF Rare Pink Hemingway 1600 Series Signature."  Perhaps one of my favorite Fuentes (even with just a year on it)  As always, perfect construction, plus some wonderful, progressive flavors, ...but it does lack that CC twang I enjoy so much.  

A good one nonetheless, especially with an iced "Jamaican" coffee

Slippery slope going down the NC route. You may find that this La Ley tastes like a Monte 4 combined with a PLPC without having to age them 5 years. Sigh
