It has a larger distribution area than it used to have but still a regional treat. For you folks that haven't been introduced to Cheerwine it has nothing to do with wine. It's a cherry flavored soft-drink. It was originated and still made in my hometown of Salisbury, NC. Definitely the coolest thing about Salisbury so we are proud of it. Hopefully the Cheerwine Festival can crank back up post-covid.

Had my first of the 1935's the other day, a Dumas. Very tasty and perfect draw,burn and construction. Not sure its quite worth the price except to have a couple around for an occasional treat or special occasion

An impulsive b&m pickup for today, Bolivar tubos 3. Tastes like the other bolivar I have tried, dark roasted grain (malt?). This also means I'm starting to consider that I don't enjoy the marca in general. Otherwise good burn and draw, so it's just a matter of taste. Keep exploring!

 

Another flawless PLPC Feb20. Smooth, sweet, perfect draw and straight burn. I'll admit that my coffee didn't pair well with it but overall a great way to start the day

I'm definitely a bolivar fan, but have yet to try any of the no.1's, no
2's or no.3's yet.
Have only found one vendor that carries the no.1 and no.2's as singles, and they were out of stock when I made my last order or I would have picked some up to try
