Bummer here, after a masterful stretch of boxes, the first 3 in this box have all been blahhh.  Will be hiding rest of this box I think for a while, and cracking a fresh one open, and I will pray to the “Aged Tobacco” Gods for a resurrection of flavor.

Abandoned ship on the Coloniales, fired up an Ex 4.  Full of leather, cream, biscuit, and just for @rcarlson, a finish of charred cherries on the roof of my mouth.  McDonald’s Cherry pie in a stick.  I just think you’re doing something wrong RC!

Ah yes, I rented in Kahana probably a decade ago one time, Polynesian Shores complex maybe?  Could have been Papakea I think they were near each other and my memory is fuzzy.  Turn off Honoapi’ilani by the old Maui Brewery Company and then head South on the ocean drive there.  Lovely area.

Yup, Maui Brewing Co is a few blocks north of me...I look out at S-turns surf spot, very near Polynesian Shores. Papakea is a mile or so closer to Ka’anapali. All in the same area. Cool that you recognize the place.

Vegueros Centrofinos
Up until this one I have enjoyed all the Centrofinos and Tapados I have smoked.

They were never great Cigars, but were pretty good for the price.

This one just had very little flavor other than mild tobacco and some bitterness, and made my mouth feel dry.

Not sure if it was a dud, or i got too spoiled with the great Cigars I smoked all month in honor of my birthday.

Will see how the next one goes before dropping them from my bookmarks

We bought at Nanea a few years back, we’ve been to Maui 20+ times, my happy place.

Checking in on the Orgullosos for Sweet 16 Saturday. The Orgullosos really seem to be exceptionally good in my experience. This is only the third one I’ve smoked. I went “light” and only bought three boxes. Wish I bought more!

It was pretty good. Haven't had a bad one yet even though it's a little too fat for me. Chocolate and spice are the main flavours, with a touch of pepper.

Definitely my favorite place. My time share is the old embassy suites at Kaanapali. The pink pyramid. COVID wrecked last year’s trip, hopefully we get there again in 2022

RASS EOS DIC 18 doing my six month check on this difficult box. This example being very enjoyable so i hope the rest were tempered with age as well.

Still a lot to do in the backyard but replaced our 11 foot umbrella with a new one,  took apart the old one and got the new one set up.  After that I had my first cigar of the season on the deck.
