Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I bought this cab about a year ago and have smoked through most of it. Some have been phenomenal, lots of chocolate and cream. Others have been very pleasant but past their prime. I think the epi especial really hit their stride around the 5-7 year mark. Curious what other members have experienced, I believe these were released in 2007 or 2008.

I’m enjoying this tasty treat thanks to @inter4alia while watching the Auburn game. First time smoking a Quai D Orsay Coronas Claro. I’m really enjoying it. I have a 2015 cab that I’m back and forth on....some seem past their prime already...others still good ....this is a cigar that seems to lose a lot past the 3 yr mark ... @ElJavi76 our resident San Juan afficianado, thoughts? Lol (Although I think the tubos are an exception ...I have 16s that are brilliant!) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk was wondering about feedback on this one...mostly they have been bland. I've had a couple that have expressed nice complexity...which is why i went a bunch deep years ago. My mistake I think. They are mostly bland, non-descript, boring cigars for my palate.

Popular Post havanaclub Posted December 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 6, 2020 Connie B GEM ENE 20. What an outstanding opening, pure Upmann DNA. This is my 4th from the cab and much better than the last one. These are very approachable young, beginning to think most stuff out of Cuba is that way. The construction and burn is second to none. Excellent cigar and ahead of the A for me, with the exception of the ring gauge. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 26
Popular Post Islandboy Posted December 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 6, 2020 This is the star of the Christmas sampler show so far for me. Wonderful aroma, like warm cookies of some sort. 25

(50, 54, Corona) Or is it a totally different animal? Thanks. Wow...that view! Is that your house? Having experienced all 3 of the current QdO’s, I’d say this is mostly a different animal in comparison. I didn’t do a review because I came to the realization a few years ago that I basically suck at picking out specific flavors. Rather, I just recognize when there’s a finely balanced depth to the aromatic experience, and this cigar has it for sure. It’s that depth of flavor and spices that sets it apart from the others. Who knows what it will become with downtime. Yep, that’s the deck of my house in West Maui, it’s a humble abode that just happens to be in a great location, just a few miles from where I grew up. As a working-class shmuck born and raised (and schooled) here, I’m very fortunate to be a homeowner in one of the most expensive places in the US. Most of my high school classmates left the island long ago to pursue the dream. I’ve just followed grandma’s advice and kept my nose to the grindstone ? 10

At that time, I poked 8 holes in that thing to no prevail. Rob Carlson was routing for me, but in the end Elliot was right (concerning since this is a guy that $60 cigar as his daily) but this CoRo had a cement knot, year one poke and it opened up like a champ. One of the few times the perfect draw has actually worked. Then, I'd hate to see what your more difficult cigars look like by the time you are done with them.? 2 2
Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted December 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted December 6, 2020 I forgot to post these Yesterday. Started out a on a very rainy Saturday morning with a Siglo VI. Then met @ElJavi76 at the cigar bar and we smoked some very good Hoyo DCs. Last night, finished up with a CoRo. Which, @BoliDan might want to use as a comparison of what a CoRo is supposed to look like. And now, starting off a frigid Sunday morning with an Esmeralda. 25

(The only Siglos I've had). Thanks. You can taste that they share some DNA, but they are not first degree relatives. Maybe second cousins. They do not come off as strong as their smaller counterparts, which for me, allows the more subtle vanilla, lemongrass, orange rind, and honey flavors to come through. The lack of roughness, makes it easy to taste all of these flavors, but at the same time, if smoked too young, it can seem bland. You don't need an excess amount of age to enjoy them. Though they do benefit from more age, they are perfectly acceptable at around 2 years. That is about the time it takes for them to open up so you can really taste the flavors. I have had some at the one year mark that were fine, but this is hit or miss, so unless you have multiple boxes, you may not want to take that chance. I don't recommend this cigar to anyone. It ruins all other cigars for you, and then you are stuck having to pay three times the price for your cigars. If you are enjoying the cigars you are smoking now, then just slowly turn around, and walk the other way. 8 4
