rckymtn22
Good possibility as there was a post last week about his cigars being auctioned off.
Popular Post JohnS
Yes. It is confirmed that sadly, he has. We will be forever grateful for his contribution to our love of habanos cigars, especially with his dedication to his reference work, 'An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Post-Revolution Havana Cigars.' 15

Min Ron Nee was a pseudonym he used to stay anonymous - I am unsure if his real name has ever been revealed.
SCgarman
It would be nice for some sort of public obituary with his real name, and perhaps a photo and summation of his life regarding cigars and his profession. I know nothing other than he was a collector of cigars and wrote an extensive book documenting them.

99call
Wow, One of those loses that really takes the wind out of your sails. Certain things you have in head stupidly as a permanent fixture, an ever present...and then it isn't...and then they aren't. It's such a rare thing to provide genuinely valuable resource. In a world of bullshit speculation, and hearsay, he provided us a compass, a touchstone. Thank you
Puros Y Vino
Yes. Heard it this morning. He shared the same passion that we do here. His legacy is a great one.

Popular Post BrightonCorgi
Few people have taught and gave insight to something that I really enjoy along with an asset that has gone up 4x+ in value. I was fortunate enough for him to send me 4-5 cigars once. Very generous and a legend. He fancied Champagne and was also quite learned in photography among other things.
