Following on from the discussion on Cuban cigar shortages :cigar:

Given your current Cuban cigar smoking rate .....how long before you are in a "bugger me, I am out" situation :D

Using rough math, my stash would last me around 15-18 years.

I havent bought a Cigar Since Nov 2019. The way things are going, I have less desire to buy more by the day. I'm happy I stocked up when I did. There will be good times to stock up again in the future. Today just ain't that day.

5-6 years at the rate I've been smoking the past year, realistically 10+ years once the world goes back a little closer to normal.

I have enough for this lifetime unless they invent some serious life extension tech.

My only buying these days is here from time to time--just in case....😀

About 7 years if I stopped buying/bombing.

Keeps me up at night.

I think I’ll feel more settled once I have a ~10 year supply.

Smoking a lot more than usual at the moment, I’m usually 2 a week, maybe 1 in the coldest months of winter. I’d guess 8ish years at that rate, about 3-4 if I carry on the way I have been.

Funny you should post this poll. I was just doing the math yesterday. I smoke daily and am only a couple of years into building my stash. So at my current rate of 7 to 10 a week... Not pretty. I'm already considering Plan B. Watering the collection down with NC's until the tight spot passes. The only thing I've got going for me is that my favorite vitolas are the smaller ones. Petit Coronas make up right at about half of my consumption. Thankfully those are the ones that are more available for now.

At the end of the day. It's a First World problem. Recently I've become much more concerned that the Cuban people are healthy and free than about their ability to produce cigars. If I have to smoke some second rate cigars for a while to give them time to sort things out. So be it.

19 years at the rate I smoke now.

I am in similar straights.  I am still buying more than I'll ever smoke.  "The chase is better than the catch."

I’m about 5 years as it stands. But this is starting to creep up as I buy more and more and more and more 😄

5.2448 years and climbing as long as I keep buying 50+ cigars/month.
