Sunday........anywhere

Pot of coffee and a newspaper...or a tablet/laptop as you put your feet up and check out the latest in the news. The family had a sleep over at their cousins last night and through a brilliant set of circumstances, you couldn't make it as you flew in late yesterday evening.  The family are not due back in until late afternoon.   Breakfast of and eggs and wild boar sausages, has been done. You are in your favourite board shots (the one with the hole)  and a T-shirt that has seen better days.  It  It is a gorgeous day and has just ticked over 10:15 am.  You are  eyeing another cup of coffee but thinking about a Gin Tonic or maybe a Negroni.  A smile crosses your face.

Your mind drifts to the humidor.  It is turning out to be a perfect Sunday morning.

What do you pick. What is your perfect mid morning cigar? :cigar:

Haha, love it, got a couple hours of sunshine before family gets home.  Full from a fantastic heavy breakfast.  What a dreamy morning.

A Fundadores or perhaps a Bolivar Libertador sounds really good at that point.

Cohiba Siglo VI Gran Reserva.

OK, totally unfair answer. But I might say a regular ol’ aged Siglo VI at this moment, which could change day to day.

(Could be I have my mind on a couple older boxes of Siglo VI for tonight. It is Jersey-style smash burger night, which is a big night in this household).

Would the cigar make the morning or the morning make the cigar? Just about anything good. How about a CORO?

Oh boy... definitely going BIG. It’s got to be that aged Partagas Lusitania that’s been waiting for the two hour window. And since I be outside, we would be smoking up some grass fed short rib or full beef rib. A glass of damn cold Albariño because it’s still warm here, and smell the pecan pellets smoldering on the DCS grill.
Quiet at last...

Fave MdO 3 or 4, no question.

Alternatives QdO Panetelas, or when longing for some oomph Boli T3, SdC2 or 3.

Morning time is L&S-time for me.

Happy to PM you so we don’t get the thread off topic but essentially smashed thin greasy burgers with grilled onions. I grew up in North Jersey (White Rose, White Diamond, White Manna) and we take the style seriously! I love to cook and love burgers, I have about four or five types of burgers I do. The classic for me is the Jersey burger.

I just finished cooking our first "indoor" burgers of the year. Did them smash on the flat top.

It’s morning so likely my first cigar of the day so nothing too big (I’ll save that for later) but it’s Sunday so nothing to small. I’ll grab a UPE MAR 13 H. Upmann Noellas.
