El Presidente Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I was told by a little bird that blend tasting for a Behike 58 has been going on. 178mm or thereabouts. With the shortages on leaf....you wouldn't think that they would...or would they? How successful would it be? Do we have to ask?
Popular Post nKostyan Posted June 3, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2019 Behike’s - is high strenght cigars. I think 58x178 it's overkillBut this cigar could be a commercial success. Men often compensate for their shortcomings with sports cars and thick cigars 2 6
Buck14 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 The MRSP on those babies will be $250 a piece. Secondary market $1000 per.
David88 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I wouldn’t be surprised to see it, the demand would be phenomenal. Although perhaps common sense would suggest that they should produce an adequate number of the 52, 54 and 56 first before adding a 58, but what do I know!
SenorPerfecto Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 I have one in my possession, allegedly. It’s humongous. Have not smoked it yet. The size of the wrapper leaf necessary is definitely a question.
SenorPerfecto Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Here it is next to a Tacos and an old Trinidad. 2 1
Popular Post canadianbeaver Posted June 3, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2019 Do they vibrate or what? CB 1 1 16 1 1
Astar20 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Need to make a long skinny behike an ode to Cohiba!!! 58 is just too much! 4
Popular Post Bucky McSwensen Posted June 3, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2019 I would love a behike lancero. Therefore it shall never exist 4 1
benfica_77 Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 Horrendous idea.... Cohiba Behike 58 "El Grande Dong" terrible..... 1
Kaptain Karl Posted June 3, 2019 Posted June 3, 2019 For the love of god, what a disgusting idea. HSA needs to come out with a long skinny new release for once.

clickbangdoh Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 They'll make up for it my making it 2" long I'm guessing.
Notsocleaver Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Only 58? Those half-assed cowards need to nut up and take it all the way to 60 rg at least. Why bother make a cigar that is only sorta obscene? Go whole hog 1 3
LLC Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Not for me. I’d rather they spent there time and energy making more of the 52 and 54’s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
nKostyan Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 I slept badly that night... I dreamt B58...I do not believe that this format will be released even in Limitada...58 ring can be, but length...To get smoke from that cigar, will have to make puffs inhaling into the lungs.I think Tabacuba and HSA still have a cool heads to abandon the idea...Or maybe El Presidente and Hamlet are testing public opinion for a new vitola for the nudies series...This format can be a success, but not for Medio tempo leafs blend
KavalanWhisky Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Love to try it but think its getting to a stage where its too big...
Booyaa Posted June 4, 2019 Posted June 4, 2019 Great idea, can't wait until these land.Sent from my Swift 2 Plus using Tapatalk
Popular Post ChanceSchmerr Posted June 4, 2019 Popular Post Posted June 4, 2019 My (our?) disappointment is irrelevant at this stage. All we can do is vote with our wallets by not purchasing, in numbers to make them notice .....which won't happen, because their "luxury placement" of the line guarantees enough sales to those who can afford it and who equate owning the cigars (and not necessarily the smoking experience, or increased risk of lockjaw) to status, wealth and power. Our outrage does not translate into meaningful action because Habanos long since absolved themselves of any "historical caretaker" role when they discontinued the vast majority of their catalog last decade. They see growth in large dong cigars, that's what they will make, come hell or high water. I hate reading the above comments back to myself, because it makes me feel so small, as if I'm raging against the "1%er's" or something, when in reality I'm just disappointed how the Habanos business model has pivoted almost totally towards an exclusive luxury product with prices to match. Cigars at their finest should be about contemplative relaxation and of the enjoyment of a sensory experience with friends, colleagues, people who share an enjoyment of the leaf - an experience of camaraderie, of spirited debate and discussion of all sorts of matters. It saddens me greatly that nowadays the most common and likely conversation to be had with a cigar regards mainly the explosion of cigar sizes and the parallel rise of prices to match (irrespective of local taxation/gov't control initiatives). Or maybe I'm just mistaken or melodramatic. It has happened before 5 1
