  8. Last night had a Zino Platinum Crown Series Barrel. Beast of a size but pretty tasty all the same. This morning it's a much more refined Quai D'Orsay corona.

  9. I’ve been SLAMMIN young plpcs lately... I should probably smoke other cigars too... I always seem to do this. I get a new box. I smoke one rott. I love it. I plow through the box...

  10. 2001 Cohiba Lancero. Surprisingly flavorful despite the bland and ugly wrapper. The only flavors coming through on a strong retro is milk and cedar notes. I can only imagine a oily wrapper on this would make it a lot better. Oh well! Still awesome ?

  11. Had a harder time picking a drink than I did a smoke tonight. TOS FEB 17 PLPC should do the trick. Wanted to see what they are like at just over a year. Caved and cracked the Elijah Craig 12 year. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk

  20. Rafael Gonzales Perlas 50 cab (German LCdH issue only). Fortunately the warning stickers come off really really easily, making it much more aesthetically pleasing. The cigars themselves are from 2013 according to the seller though the differing bands indicate that the years may vary 2012/2013?

  22. Young Party D4 (ASR AGO 17) Cold draw was dark chocolate, first puffs are all toast and a tiny bit of spice, creamy smoke. Ye gods, this is good. First one out of the box and I am one very happy camper indeed. Great way to end a very good 24 hours of friends and food.

  23. Ramón Alloñes Hexagon Exclusivo Francia Gifted Burn was a little wonky but that's my fault for not dry boxing it longer. Great flavors. Got some sweet bread notes, some raw nuts... Very enjoyable smoke.

  24. These have a bad reputation due to many boxes suffering from fireproof wrappers, but if you get one of the good ones like mine, these are a treat. Fuller bodied than regular HDM, even after over 10 years.

  25. ABR Oct 11 Sancho Panza Molinos. This beautiful lonsdale cigar is sadly gone (it seems like yesterday, but it is actually around 5 or 6 years ago). Beautiful wood and salted cream, consistent with the Sancho Panza marca, which stands out as containing unique blends amongst Habanos marcas.

  26. Just had my first sir Winston. Mind blown. What a wonderful wonderful cigar. I received it in a trade...not certain of code/date but at least 5 years on it. She was not pretty...some damage on the wrapper. The aroma it gives off while smoking is just perfume. Exactly what a great Cuban cigar should smell like. Power grew slowly, flavor was wonderful. Now I know why people are mad about them. Are any of the other H Upmann line like this? I don’t have a lot of experience with HU.

  29. Finished off what was a very good ETP AGO 15 cab of RASS and this was the first one from a ETP OCT 15 cab of RASS that I just opened. Very good first cigar, let’s hope the other 49 are the same or better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  31. Thanks to all for the warm thoughts on my Moms passing. The encouraging comments, phone calls and PMs from people I've never met were wonderful. This is a great family. We are off to Negril to heal with great friends, Negronis and of course some fine sticks from FOH. If anyone's around give me a shout if you want to hook up. We need a vacation. It's been a while.??????

  32. H.Upmann No.2 (2014) - wood, cocoa, coffee and a thick burnt sugar taste to this smoke. A beautiful long finish. This smoke is moreish, and a regular favourite of mine.
