Glad they let you smoke there. No complaints?

No.  Wasn't forbidden. Just couldn't smoke in grandstands and common areas.  We had general admission. So a few stretches here and there.  There weren't many smokers overall.  Saw a few smoke a cigarette here and there and a few vapers. Weed however, was prohibited everywhere.  No one around me seemed bothered.

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

Bolivar Royal Corona. I have to admit I just don’t get Bolivar. Everyone says they are rich but I get very little but a bit of wood and vanilla. Many swear by these but I don’t get it at all. Whole lot of nothing. 73.

I also have little time for the BRC, but I love Bolivar. Have you had any BBF's?  Libertadors? Tubos 1/3, coronas junior?

I have found the BRC to be the weakest in the line.

Have had the BBF. For what it’s worth. Here’s my review:

Bolivar Belicosos Fino. V good construction, draw a bit tight. Bolivars have this flaky ash but look how it holds! No-nonsense “manly” Cuban, leather, cocoa, savoury spicy. Rich plumes of aromatic smoke. Lacks that “deep salt” I look for. Samey. Not for beginners. 87.

Montecristo Especial No 2. Lighter than the No 1 and less coffee than typical Monty profile. Slight chocolate but the dominant note I got was coconut almost like a Bounty. I like the vitola but worth paying extra for the No 1 in my view. 87.

In my opinion, these need time (5+ years) to realize their potential (and added years simply add to their wonderful potential for delicious complexity).  To each his own; just wanted to offer that for possible future enjoyment.

If I ever see a box for a reasonable price maybe but what do they have over the No 1?
