Wonderful cigar! Loads of sweet cream with some cedars hints. Rich custardy smoke in droves. Adding in a hint of fruitiness? In the 2nd half!
 

Anyone with a link to info on these? I think they were run just before Covid hit or thereabouts? I’d love to read the original release info to learn more about them!

You’re not mistaken. There is a thread in the US section. Probably 2ish years ago. 5-6 different sizes. I’ll try and dig it up later if you can find it

While the north of Australia struggles with flooding, we had a nice sunny day in the south. Warm enough to ponder the irony of smoking a nice Party Short with a coffee while wearing active wear. Ha ha! Dressed for the gym then decided there was better use of the day! Cheers

Connie A, obviously. Do I love these? No I don’t. This box (EPM ABR 18) smells great and construction is good too. They have the classic Upmann almond character. The cigar is perfectly pleasant, but somehow lacking in interest. The big fat cigar seems to burn down just as quickly as a PC.  I’d rather have a Connie 1 most of the time.

Meh.  I've smoked through over 20 boxes of Esmeraldas, and some are toothier than others.  This is far from the toothiest I have smoked.  As long as they taste good, I'm not too judgmental.

The Oscuro JL#2 had to get some bright sunlight to show some color. A 6er from 2019 maybe. I have had only a few and this one is showing very well.
