Picked up a tin of these over the summer and was a little underwhelmed tonight.  Will bury the other two for a while and revisit.  Classic Tobacco Road matchup tonight against Dook.

Fantastic smoke that lasted a little over 1.5 hrs.  Copious amounts of smoke, medium bodied, and wonderful construction.  Really looking forward to how these age over the years.

I am not smoking watching the football game but earlier today I had my second Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 2 “MEL DIC 16” from a box I got about 3 years ago. The first one I smoked did not impress me that much and that was about a year and a half ago.  I was smoking this cigar in my garage roasting coffee before the Super Bowl tonight. 

Overall this was a good cigar with orange, chocolate and espresso flavors.

It was a dud.  I think you can be bored by a Lusi, but flavorless is not a typical experience. Try another, and if you can get it from a different box code even better.

Vent with a VRF today (BSM ABR 20), to celebrate the capture of another box of these in yesterdays 24:24 ?

Good construction, and nice classical VR flavors: tobacco, earthy cocoa and a bit of mocha. Not the most beautifull cigar in the box, with a few green stains - but still very enjoyable. Weather here in Copenhagen has become rather cold and windy with a huge chill factor, so enjoyed the cigar in the garden shed - will certainly be somewhat more enjoyable once spring starts knocking on the door ?

We agreed btw, those aren't bad cigars. They're incredibly herbal to me. He described the flavor akin to pine needles... so we're on the same page. Conclusion, $3 cigars taste like $3 cigars and $40 dollar cigars... you get the drift.
