An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

Partagas Privada 2014 EL with Mus (LordAnubis) at the Garden Leederville

Any thoughts as to whether you think these have peaked? Or on the decline?legs to spare?

All the small Partagas offerings besides the Shorts tend to be a blur for me. Super Partagas has had pretty good construction for me. I got a half plugged box of Mille Fleurs earlier this year. Just got a box of the Petit Coronas Especiales, but I've only had one so far. Again besides the Partagas shorts, all of these are generally some combination of pepper and spice. Sometimes some other flavours, but generally not a lot of complexity.

Thanks for the response. I can’t tell yet whether I like these more than the Mille Fleurs, which I remember (been over a year and more) since I had some. I tend to like all Partagas but these so far but I still can’t tell it apart from the rest.

Of the "little" Partagas, I think the Shorts are the best. After that I like the PCEs next, then the Aristocrats. I like those two more than the Supers or Mille Fleurs. The PCEs can be a bit harsh when fresh but start to get good after 18 month to 2 years.

Do u know how old yours are?

DIC 19. Sounds like it could need some more rest. For now I like the Super Partagas and of course the Party Shorts more. I detect some harshness so maybe I’ll rest the remaining sticks for a while.  Too many choices, now I’m remembering how good Mille Fleurs can actually be, a little light on flavor but also good!

Well fine then Doc (?) do you only buy from el laguito or do you buy from others? Because mine was psp but from a different factory.

I didn't mean to offend, Dan.  It was not meant to be a serious response.  I was joking around about how your CoRo looked after you fixed the draw problem.  You mangled it a bit.  I'm sure it tasted as good as any unmangled CoRo I may have smoked.  Nothing to do with factory or the quality of the cigar.  If it came out that way in print, I apologize.
