It’s been terrible smoking weather here in the UK - and I always smoke outdoors. Drizzle and strong winds for a week and a half. Tonight: calm clear skies, fresh and bright under the just-waning moon. This 2016 Punch Punch has risen to the occasion. After a poke to open it up, it’s clouds of sweeeet incense and that super distinctive Juicy Fruit flavour. Under medium, perfect burn and all the refinement and complexity you could want. Eventually adds a touch of tingly Szechuan pepper. Accompanied well by a glass of Taylors ‘85 Vintage Port.
