Popular Post RDB Posted May 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2020 Sig IV from about 2016-17. Smoking really well: all the sweetness and grace that one wants from this line. I’m increasingly of the view that Cohiba pretty much always needs a few years’ rest. 27

Not really a celebration as my wife and I would normally do, all thanks to this whole deal of shenanigans of happening right now and nothing being open. A great QdO 50 for a C&C break while my son was napping in the afternoon, and a meh JL Chiado ER Portugal ORA DIC 14 last evening (just a wind tunnel, completely underfilled). Happy birthday ! Popular Post StogieSteve23 Posted May 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2020 LAU NOV-15 Bought a 10 pack of these a couple years ago. Smoked/gave away five and forgot about the rest. Just found the remaining five today and decided to give one a go. Delicious smoke. Milk chocolate, baked goods, cedar and sweet cream. Perfect construction. Love the protection/flavor that the cedar wrap provides. ULA MAR-14 Old band Coronas Claro Toast w/ butter, heavy cream, unsalted roasted almonds. Perfect construction. Delightful nub-worthy smoke for a morning conference call. EAG JUL-14 Presidentes Meh.. Ok, not great. Fiancé and I are making our guestlist for the wedding tonight. Enjoyed one of my favorite go-to IPAs and a little non-plus that was flawless. 33

My grandfather was a Filipino-Spaniard who became a spy for the Filipino guerrillas on the island of Panay, where he lived, in the city of Iloilo. He was shuttling messages hidden in his bicycle when he was captured by the occupying Japanese forces. He was tortured for weeks in a mountain hideout until the day the Allied forces landed in March, 1945, and his captors ran. He was one of the fortunate ones that wasn’t beaten to death. America recognized his efforts and gave him citizenship and he lived many years in California enjoying the freedom of this country. Cheers man. That’s an amazing story!! Makes me so happy hearing stories like that. Cheers!! 1

Popular Post lovethehaze Posted May 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2020 LGR SEP 18 La Fuerza. Ash just dropped where I repaired it. Honestly this is the first SCDLH I have enjoyed. Sweet toasted tobacco not a whole lot more but no wet cardboard as i usually get. Not bad. 29
Popular Post CampDelta369 Posted May 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2020 This box of RASS has been disappointing. Although it has a nice cold aroma, construction and wrapper. this one, while not acrid, was bland with Burnt cardboard notes which started getting bitter in first third. Pitched it for a great backup hitter. Partagas Shorts is no show pony. 31 1

Popular Post El Hoze Posted May 6, 2020 Popular Post Posted May 6, 2020 Feb 19 Lusi. First from the box. Frustrated me a little for the first third or so w a bit of an uneven burn (I’m a stickler there) and so-so smoke production but it improved over time, can still see a little of an uneven burn now. Will revisit in a couple years. Ice cold Presidente (vestido de novia) is perfect as always. Cheers everyone. 29
