Smoked a Bolivar Corona Extra last night. Normally I find the Bolivar a bit too earthy for me, but this cigar was fantastic. Slight earth, a little sweetness, slight woodiness and tobacco flavors. A great cigar...made me want to revisit the other Bolivar vitolas I've smoked and didn't care for.

Short smokes in the past few days have included:

07 Siglo I

08 Monte #5

07 Partagas Short

07 RASCC

They rate in that order, with the Siglo I taking the cake.

Last night was a Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 1. A very nice and relaxing smoke while I watched Hurt Locker. Great movie.

Last night a Romeo y Julieta Corona. Nothing special. Bad burn, ugly ash, burned uneven, a little too tight on the draw.

After all the take about Cuaba Piramides, I pulled out an 2008 LE and smoked it. Fantastic cigar. Just as I remembered it.

Boli CJ - a bit too tight, I chewed on it, stuck it with a key, and gnawed some more until it was smokeable...

Friday Cigar at work - A LGC Medaille D'Or #1, my first one.

Fragile wrapper started to unravel a little bit, but a tasty smoke with sweet cake, and a nice spicyness in the final 3rd. Very refined smoke! The draw was very loose, but the ash revealed no tunnelling or evident underpacking.
