@JohnS, John , John tsk tsk. The whole world will collapse if those executives don't get their 7 and 8 figure bonuses. The entire world revolves around them. Didn't you know? 😂

Whole damn planet would die without money makers.

Greedy business that stumble through an explanation of why they mark their products 50-100% more. Car dealers that add 50k to the price of a new car just because. Go F off. I will laugh when they close up shop in a few years after the supply returns and customers remember.

Oh and Putin, Russia and China as well. But I think most of the world feels that way at this point.

Honestly, 2022 didn't annoy me as much as most other years. HSA has decided that I am not worthy of their products, fuel prices are falling back to normal. I still don't know what a NFT is... My wife is a little more annoying than she was last year, but that will change. Or Else... 👿

Does it feel to you that even before you have taken that last bite of dessert at a restaurant.......your phone chimes and you are being asked for a review?  You check out of a hotel and the review request arrives before you have even left the foyer?  How was your experience today at Walmart? Coles? Woolworths? Gas/Pertol Station? IKEA crapper?

How did we do regarding your delivery of groceries?, pizza?, vitamins?, electronics?.

Let me tell you how you did. YOU DID YOUR EFFING JOB!  If you didn't do your effing Job ....I WILL LET YOU KNOW. If you provide exceptional service...I WILL LET YOU KNOW. Otherwise EFF OFF!

Rant over.

Feel free to provide your own 2022 peeves ;)

Buy a Faraday bag/sleeve for your phone and use cash. That would solve some of those annoyances. Then again, no signal will get through to your phone while it’s in the bag.

Having to put in serious effort to give a business my money.

The whole transaction process seems backwards these days. Your job is to have a product, in stock, that I would like to purchase. I also assume that your payment systems and cashiers are working in order to take my payment.

More often than not I've turned to online purchasing for ridiculously small things because I just cannot stand how much of my personal time is being wasted on this.

My most recent 'revenge purchase' example of this was going into Home Depot to buy something they confirmed on their website to be in stock and available. It was a bit of an odd item (unusual torx bits), so I wasn't too concerned there would be a run on them. Of course I waste 20 minutes to find out they don't have them. So I just went home, ordered them online, which forced the store to locate them and then ship them to me.

This type of thing has  become so frequent in this area it is shameful..local businesses

beg for you to shop with them then turnaround and gouge you because you were the only one stupid enough to actually try...

Moral of the story for me...I'm not wasting my time anymore...online for anything specialty or not groceries.

I hear you. I had a local builder tell me that they could only sell me external trim pieces if they installed and 300 an hour. 15 minutes on Google and done. Trim ordered and construction adhesive applied. 6k to the good. It’s out of control now !
