Hoyo Rio Seco in a pyramide… I’d go even narrower but I’m already stretching the rules.

Ok, I’ll play. I’d love the JL1 blend in a Churchill.

Lusitania in a Corona Gorda.

Medio Siglo in a Robusto. I’d say double Robusto but they’re so strong I’d probably never be able to finish it.

PLPC (42 x 5 1/8) in a partagas 8-9-8 frame (43 x 6 1/4).  I've really been enjoying PLPCs lately and would love if they just had a bit more to them.

Lusitania (49 x 7 5/8) in a Grand Corona size (46 x 5 5/8).  Would be nice if I could have a lusi in a smaller size.  Less time required and maybe we'd see more availability if they were a smaller size.

Punch 48 in 45. It is probably too close to punch punch but those are only available in tubos in my region and honestly screw tubos!

Also RyJ PC or MF in a 6x39

How about a Monte A in a Perlas?

Close--I'll take a RASCC in a Rodolfos.

Big fan of the boli pc - would make a great replacement for the coronas extra as a Franciscos.

I would tweak that slightly: a Boli Tubos No. 3 in a Franciscos. Closest thing to a BCE you could get.

I'm a big fan of a good short smoke with a decent RG 44-48 (like a Half Corona) and of my top 3 fav brands most do have something similar to fit the blend of bigger smoke in a smaller ring gauge / size.

For RyJ you can get a Churchill lite blend in a Petit Royales, which (price aside) I think are massively underated. Ive seen the factory name written before (incorrectly) as a half Churchill which I think is apt.

For Punch you don't really get a Punch Punch in a mini format in the petit coronations, but there is still plenty of that typical nutty Punch flavour for this to fit the bill.

My only wish for Por Larranaga would be a PLPC in a short stubby size. The montecarlo is too thin for my ideal RG, despite the right smoking time and the Galanes is too big for a coffee break and from the few I've tasted think they'll need longer to be as sweet (found it more wood and pepper).

I’d go Esmeralda in a Double Robusto playing by these rules!

The best Trinidads are the skinnies! Fundadores(40rg), Coloniales(44rg), then the Reyes(40rg), are my favorites. In that order. The fatties dont bring anything to the table that the original lineup doesnt. I've smoked almost 200 Vigia, a couple boxes of La Trova, and a handful of the Topes. They're all good, but I much prefer the skinnier models. I would LOVE it if they brought back the robusto extra though. The La Trovas are close to a replacement, but I just dont find them rich enough.

Yes, most of the newer ones are. I think you can stay sub 44rg and still get the best of the Marca though.

56 gauge into a 42

You would have to be a magician :D

The reasononing for the +/- 3 RG rule is that is about as far as you can stretch the blend before replicating it becomes near impossible. Well that has been our experience anyway.

I'm not too sure about the exact size change, but anything to make an Upmann Half Carona bigger/last longer (ooh,er missus)  would be a big plus for me.
