Christmas Eve arrival of some lovely HQ Montecristo Petit Edmundos EOL JUN 21 and a box of Cohiba Maduro 5 Secretos that, were Santa have delivered them, would have indicate a high level of naughtiness. TUA AGO 21 and dark as coal. Will attribute that to the temperature and closeness to the Solstice. Will taste in 6 months and see how they do. Happy Christmas everyone!

These QDO 50s showed up today on Xmas eve from FOH, I think they were clearance on 24:24, might be the best looking cigars I’ve seen in years.

HQ especial #2, much lighter than the box of PSP I got a few weeks back. I think I've only ever got clearance, it'll be interesting to see how much of a difference there is.

The last arrival for 2021 showed up on a snowy, windy morning. Lovely Punch Short de Punch from EOS OCT 19 and splendid Romeo y Julieta Short Churchills from BEL JUL 21. Both fragrant despite being in the postie’s frozen sack. Happy New Year everyone!

LAT Mar 2019 Selección Petit Robustos, a multi-brand combination release containing two each of 50 ring gauge x 102 mm (or 4 inches) in length Petit Robustos across five marcas (Cohiba, H.Upmann, Montecristo, Partagas, Romeo y Julieta). It's something a bit different I know, but I decided to re-purchase the same product again this year because I've heard good things about these multi-brand offerings and I greatly enjoyed the cigars I've smoked, thus far. Incidentally, this new purchase came with the same box code as my last purchase from the same vendor. Also paradoxically, the regular production Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto is not included in this release.

BRE Sep 2017 Selección Pirámides , a multi-brand combination release containing one each of a 52 ring gauge x 156 mm (or 6⅛ inches) in length Pirámides across six marcas (Cohiba, H.Upmann, Hoyo de Monterrey, Montecristo, Partagas and Romeo y Julieta). I've bought the Selección Petit Robustos multi-brand release recently and was greatly impressed with the cigars from that box so I decided to give this multi-brand release a try.

@JohnS have you heard of any evidence to suggest that the cigars included in these Seleccion packages are of a generally higher quality than average production?

It could stand to reason that Habanos might want to use quality cigars in these sampler packs to attract new customers.
