I had some doozies this month.....but a simple Ramon Allones Superiores from 2018 blew them all away. I love being surprised

Cold and rain put a damper on most of March, but I did have a really surprisingly nice couple of HdM Epi 2s this past week. I hadn’t thought much of them when they arrived awhile back but stumbled across them and figured I’d revisit. Really great construction, consistent burn and after some time settling in the humi, they had mellowed our considerably.

'98 Punch Corona. The last 3 I had were all meh at best, but this particular one was probably my best cigar of the year so far. now I just have one more in the singles box and I don't know if I should reach for it or not. There is just something about punch for me where the bulk of them can be just okay-ish but very best of them can shine like the nothing else.

Spent a week in Cuba, cigars on the beach, lounges and at cigars shops. Had a great Party E No. 2 but the best one was one of Alex's Lanceros that he gave me when I visited his store. Fantastic!

I had a Diplomaticos no. 4 from 2004 that was insanely good. The best cigar that I have had in quite some time!

My best of Marxh 2019 was the Hoyo Maravilla from the Book Edicion 2015.

2009 Upmann Mag 50.   dripping with peaches and cream.   One of those cigars, that if you gave it to a newbie, they would be astounded simple tobacco alone, could present such flavours.
