Guys golf weekend in Southeastern Florida.  24 gentlemen (using that term loosely) that get together every year for golf, beer, cigars and good stories.  We take turns hosting and yesterday's host did a clam, shrimp boil - there was 6 trays of seafood as full as you see below in the picture.  Just awesome!

aussie kids grow up eating that by the bucketload. basically milk which has had the water component removed and then a bucketload of sugar added. diabetes, here we come!

Oh yeah, this has been a treat due to the nature of the can packaging, and a solid boiled can on condensed milk should be tried by all with a sweet tooth, but the convenience of a squeeze bottle is game changing for me, like on par with a v-cut.

That's an old school Portuguese way of serving coffee.  I had a co-worker who did that like 30 years ago.  Great way if you like cream and sugar in your coffee!

Malaysian kopi and teh tarik are made with condensed milk. My grandmother used to make me Milo with condensed milk, whenever I would fly in for a visit. My preferred brand is Nestle.

If you don't want to go so sweet, you can also try evaproated milk. It's similar to condensed milk, but not cooked with sugar, so it is less sweet and nowhere near as thick.

Yes, I can see how the squeeze bottle would change the game! Cans were messy....

A new project starting at the casa this week - a new patio. Original 1960 vintage being torn out today to be expanded and beautified. Smoked a nice BRC a few weeks ago while I tore up the deck that was covering it. After the patio is poured my summer project is to build a post and beam covered area over by the fence between the rhododendron and the fig tree - will be a good spot for rainy day smokes!

When I use to work in Singapore I'd have kopi every day.  Kopi could take the States by storm; especially with the performance of making it.  So right up the American alley; there's a fortune to be made! 

May not be so hot on carrying the cup in a plastic bag, but certainly the rest.

Big Sky Montana. Probably my favorite ski resort. We were there the week of 3/20-27. There wasn't a lot of snow the first three weeks of March but just before we arrived there was a good dump. Then we had 3 to 5 inches for 5 nights and days and one blue bird day. What a trip.

Our Florida trip this year included a visit to the new Star Wars land and Disney Hollywood Studios. Disney have set the bar so high for immersive experience both on rides and all around outside look/feel. Over the top attention to detail. The Falcon was one of my first, favorite toys I had during my childhood so this kinda sent chills walking up towards it...Punch it, Chewie!
