Late entry (maybe a little too late)! The original plan was to sit around, anxiously awaiting the arrival of my granddaughter! Fortunately, a couple other items popped up! My Friday activity was unpacking the new humidor my wife surprised me with for father's day and our anniversary! Saturday I attended a cigar event and caught up with some old friends (no pics of that).Late Saturday night, my granddaughter decided it was time to make her entrance! Enjoyed getting to hold her for the first time and passing her back to her dad when it was time for a diaper change! Sunday was spent at the hospital with my granddaughter!

It’s was with trepidation that I tried my first HdM Epicure No.2 from my new cab (2015), i have got to the last 5 in another cab that has been beautiful (going to age the remaining 5), so I didn’t know how this one would go. Shopping for a bucket list car. Found a new origin of coffee that I like a lot. And sending some bombs out! Successfully installed an outlet for 2 family members unexpected medical equipment and walked a mile cancer free walk for my mother in law. Now it's raining and it's time to relax. I thought all the blind sticks were “regular production” ? So that includes discontinued vitolas? That makes them not in production.

Until I did the research it seemed crazy that I could own my own plane. It turns out to be roughly the same price as renting a plane for the duration of time it takes my wife and I to get our private pilots license and get our instrument rating. So, either rent a plane for all the hours it takes two people to become instrument rated...and have a pile of receipts OR buy a plane and spend the same amount of money and have a plane instead of receipts. That plane cost less than my minivan ...and only 208 hours SFOH.

How time flies. I had to look this one up and was shocked it is from 2008! I was digging thru my humidor and stumbled upon an almost full cab. I love finding lost gems. Aside from an open draw, flavors are good.

Just brought home my weekend score. Found this on Craigslist yesterday...on Maui. The odds are staggering, trust me. It was one of the display humidors out of Sir Wilfred’s, a longtime Lahaina Tobacco shop that sadly closed a few years ago. They were the only B&M on the island to stock truly primo cigars. Well worn on the outside, and wrapped in fakie wood veneer, it’s the inside of it that shines, with Spanish Cedar throughout. She’ll be functional in no time.

I have always been a massive fail in being able to achieve a smoke ring. I don't even come close can you blow the perfect smoke ring? for those than can....is it just training?....or is it just an inherent knack? What is the secret!!!! I can't be the only one!
