Popular Post Greenhorn2 Posted September 28 Popular Post Posted September 28 Enjoying this RA this evening watching the chickens. Wyle Coyote is still lurking around so I'm done with the subtleties. I put the 12 gauge up and got out the Bushmaster 308 that I have dialed in for 300 yards/meters. Had the RASS this morning before freezing 8 quarts of mixed greens. I canned 28 quarts of half runner green beans yesterday which was an all day affair. The rest are some sticks from earlier in the week. Watched a friend of mine fly around on his 'kite' this morning. 27
Popular Post yuppie Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 Punch ManTua -- Had the chance to purchase a 50cab of these and luckily I had a single from a few months ago I got in a trade. Glad I tried this before taking the plunge because this was much more of a leathery, earthy Punch which didn't really blow me away. Still a good cigar, just not incredible enough to justify the hype price. 26 1
Popular Post Wlu1988 Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 Fantastic weekend Dove hunting in South Texas. Popular Post BMWBen Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 2017 Alex custom roll, the construction on these always blows me away, it's like picking up a wooden dowel. No give at all when pinching but still has a great draw. 22

Popular Post itsdoja Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 H Upmann Magnum 54's Fellas the 2024 54s are Good to go Right now. Couldn't be better, but here's the twist. I've learned something with this particular blend and you all can test it for yourselves. I purchased a box of May 2024 Magnum 54's on April 2025 this year. I placed in in a airtight Tupperware with a hygrometer, no Boveda, no humidity. I placed them in a cool dark closet with temps of 67-70°F and the humidity remained consistent at 65RH the entire period. I open the container every 2 months for airflow. I received a tip that these are very delicious at 64-65RH Last night I decided to dip into the box and try one and I was absolutely blown away. They smoked amazing and construction was solid. Flavors of Gingerbread citrus peel and herbal tea notes coated my palate as the milk chocolate component joined the profile in the final third making this one of my favorite smokes. I nubbed the c**p out of it and threw it in my pipe to finish it off. Please give the 54s another try at a higher humidity you will not be disappointed. Allow them to acclimate in a dark cool environment at 65RH. Total Game changer if you like a sweet, tangy flavorable smoke. 7

Total Game changer if you like a sweet, tangy flavorable smoke. That recommendation is not necessarily exlusive to that blend. Try it with more CCs and you may be surprised on those too. Do you want to try to kick it up one more level? If you're keeping them at 65, dry box one for a day or two before smoking. If it doesn't improve it, not a big risk. But I like smoking all my CCs around 62-63RH. 7
Popular Post Hoosh Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 I would smoke this Herrera Esteli Lonsdale (Willy’s OG cigar) four days a week 🙂 17
Popular Post LaoFan Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 Monte Especial '86. Zero harshness, all flavour. Wish I had 100 of these. Too High @ Rosewood in Guangzhou. Awesome live music. One of the highest bars in the world (close to 500m). Was last call so we all got 2 cocktails each. Don't judge. 😆 24

Collecting data points to see if/when I should crack open my box. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Popular Post Nevrknow Posted September 29 Popular Post Posted September 29 2019 PLPC. Glad I went deep on these. Way different from the ROTT ones I smoked way back when. 20
