A lot of vendors store at 69% and ship with 69% boveda. I find they're often ok right off the truck but they can be too humid. You'll need 30+ days to fix it through proper storage. But I can't blame you for smoking some sooner

I could not agree more. As I stay in hotels since last October,I store all my cigars with 69% boveda in a sealed plastic bag.
Recently I found all my cigars went off easily. I leave the cigars in ambient conditions (24 degree 52% humidity) for 20-30 minutes. It generally gets better.
Some of my friends told me this is called decant a cigar, whatever.

I am running out of stock soon. So RyJ EL 18 again today.
I have done half of the box now, not every single one tastes exactly the same. This might be why Cohiba price went sky high here, very stable. A box of BHK 56 worth more than 2000 usd now.
For this one, the first 1/3 was strong dark chocolate. The second 1/3 was sweet and chocolate. The last 1/3, cedar came in, no sweet. A bit peppery.
Still a happy afternoon.

I've found that the 69% boveda always translates to 64 - 67 RH in my desktop humidor... I looked around and confirmed this in other sources and I believe Boveda states that it can be under by 5 points in RH.. so I figure 69 is going to give me an average of 65... but that's just me ...

Just a week off the truck and already firing on all cylinders! Another one to add to the rotation! 

I should have taken notes for a review but I was busy. I did however get that dried fruit note (El Prez says prunes, I definitely agree) in spades. Definitely a unique profile that's fantastic!

Yeah it depends on shipping time and if they vacuum seal. It won't hold 69% in the package. But their warehouses are at 69% too.

RH will be 5 lower in a desktop, only a few lower in a cooler, pretty dead on in Tupperware.

Morning conference calls are usually for minutos, but decided to go for something bigger today. Started out a tasting a little dirty and like a cigarette, but quickly settled into thick, rich cream and spice.

B-52 bomber from 5 pack sampler

Night stroll time and decided to give this one a go. At first, very muted dry hay and rattan flavors, but it was a delayed reaction. About 10 min into it..heavier flavors of clove, white pepper, and gingerbread lingered. Very enjoyable as I stop to write this out.
