Wow!  I have stratospheric expectations for how good these need to be ... how was it?!

Hi buddy,
I spent quite a lot to get this single cigar. So
maybe my expectations were too high! A little bit disappointed to be honest. I can still call it 2 hours of happy time. It was easy going in the first place and getting much better. The second 1/3 was perfect, but last inch was not so good.
I think I can give 90/100.

PSP Epicure 1 UEB SEP 19. 
 

First from the cab. Very unlike other Hoyo’s I’ve had! First third has been semi sweet cocoa, raspberry and a little cream. Lots of flavor. This will be a heck of a box! 
This has been one of the best cigars I’ve had in awhile. The raspberry/chocolate is epic!

Mag 54 BRE DIC 19 while watching Apocalypse Now for the Who said that competition.  Mag54 was unremarkable, tight draw with basic tobacco notes and a lingering harshness.  Movie was pretty good, surprised on how long it was for an old film!  Got 3 more to watch - I plan to watch all the movies since they seem like classics that I should watch.

Cold but not to bad in the sun for a short cigar so I grabbed a POU MAY 12 HQ Siglo I. Definitely stronger than the larger Siglo’s even when this old. These have the legs to get a lot older. Great cigar. 

Tonight a UTE MAR 17 PSP RASS from a cab. Dark and oily goodness. Only had to ash it once and that was only because the smoke output started to go down.

G’day Andy. My tasting on this Walnut, pepper spice, dark chocolate a light lick of honey on the after taste. Final 3rd pepper increased and became a touch bitter. Overall has improved considerably since my last one roughly a year back. I feel these can age for another couple of years yet to even out that final 3rd.

Hi...Kurt. I had two last year & it was quite wet in the last third...first & second third had some good flavors. Burn was wonky that time. I guess I'll give it a try in a month or two, to see how it is... Thanks & keep safe!

I did actually dry box this one for 4 days as recalled the past one was as you mentioned wet. Suggest that you may wan to try something similar to see if that helps.

Definitely gets a bit too windy at times to try shots like these. I have fortunately one had 1 incident where a stick was lost to the over the edge gods. Lol

Celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Ox with SCDLH La FuerzaIt is one fine cigar now and should be even better with a bit of age. Just unsure if I can wait that long. Maybe it’s time to load up.

Nice Partagas spice I hadn't got in my last few Partagas cheap and cheerfuls.

@Akela3rd I'll probably be smoking some Rafael Gonzalez Perlas and/or Petit Coronas soon for the same reason ?

Edit: smoked a PCE thanks @VKUTT for the suggestion. Less spice more sourdough some earth. Seems they do need some more time. I'll smoke the aristocrats and maybe leave the PCE for later. -15C 5f but not windy.

Sparked a new friendship with a BOTL up north who can't smoke because it's -30 so I have to toughen up.
