Jumping the gun on my first Mantua. Always a silly move but sometimes what the hey. It would be very hard to smoke the first one if I had a cab and would think of their value some years down the road. How did you like it ? 3

havanaclub Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 kmax Thanks but I am referring to that specific code as I have a box with that code and with an earlier EL 17 code and truth be told the earlier box isn't the best examples in terms of flavorI have a box of UAO JUL 18 and have smoked a few. Had one on my birthday in May and was very pleased. However I feel they need more time to shine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1

I still find them young....Burn was a lil wonky. Had a few touch ups. Flavor wise was good. Could still do a few more months of settling down...Will smoke another end of the year. Apologies for the late reply, Curt. Cheers! Stay Safe Always... 1
Popular Post X-Man Posted June 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 9, 2020 HURR UPE NOV 12. Smoked the lightest one last night and it is still strong after over 7 years of age. 26
Popular Post CampDelta369 Posted June 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 9, 2020 @FatherOfPugscalled out the DC tonight. This HDM is Young and quite nice. Rain stopped here in PNS but humidity is thick. It seems I have more time on a travel week to address this vitola respectfully. Cheers 27

How did you like it ? I have never sold a cigar as tempting as it sometimes is (I’m looking at you BHKs). I buy ‘em to smoke ‘em. Way too young and not enough time in the humi yet to make a call but it certainly has punch (no pun intended). Will revisit around the holidays! 4

Popular Post SigmundChurchill Posted June 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 9, 2020 Montecristo Gran Piramides, Habanos Coleccion Book 2017 Think of the best Monte 2 you have ever had, and that is what every one of these have tasted like. Very creamy, with rich chocolate all the way through. 33

Me too, for the most part, I do more small trades. I bought a box of BHK 54's in early 2012 for about $ 35 per stick if I remember right. I still have 4 sticks left. Glad cause I would never buy them at today's asking prices. I guess the market dictates prices, but its out of control, especially on vintage, RE and LE's. Not to mention, most of the RE's that I have liked better than LE's come mostly in 10 count boxes for the same prices as 25's not too many years ago. I'm really glad I bought most of my stock in 2008 to 2014. I went hog wild the first few years into Cubans. I do know some people who are collecters and sellers and don't smoke those types of cc's are making some serious coin... 5
Popular Post sw15825 Posted June 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 9, 2020 Edmundos, UAO AUG 18. Smoking very well. Montecristo DNA. EMA OCT 08. Nice cigar, light body and smooth but lots of flavor. I like the 2007 P.L. robustos more, but this is still a nice cigar. PLPC, EMA ABR 08. Delish !!! 35
Popular Post prshah25 Posted June 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 9, 2020 AF Short Story Maduro. Hard pressed to find a cigar this size with better construction and flavor that’s enjoyable anytime.. 27
Popular Post StogieSteve23 Posted June 9, 2020 Popular Post Posted June 9, 2020 BOP FEB-19: Love these sticks. Cream, shortbread, vanilla pudding and a slight lemon zest in the final third. Perfect construction and burn on this one. 33
