An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

C&C ‘14 especiales. Fantastic start to the day C&C with a Monte 4 C&C time today with a Perla picked up from 24:24

How are the Hoyo DCs? Thinking of grabbing a box. Recent production good? They compare to punch DC?

Grab a box, the Hoyo DC is one of my favorites for regular production. Very creamy, lighter profile. In my opinion better than the Punch DCs.

All these Hoyo DCs I see. Thinking of a box. How are they? That a recent production? Would like to hear your thoughts

Yes....recent production of the DC...snagged from a 24:24 here probably in July. Box code is ROE NOV 16. Quite delicious, but could probably benefit from some more rest. Lovely leisurely smoke.

Likewise!!

I had a Mag 50 (haven't had one in a long time - a mistake I must not repeat after last night's example) and a delicious 2013 MUR BRC.

Tapatalk won't let me upload images.

Afternoon chaps,

Hope you've all had a great day; some fantastic sticks have been roasted i see! rock.gif

Last night I decided to flambe one of my three Trinidad Fundadores - as they're singles i purchased earlier in the year I sadly have no clue of the date.

Anyway, a massive knot 2" down plugged my Fun utterly, so i decided to use my perfect draw...lesson here folks, do NOT operate poking implements whilst somewhat soused in Cognac, as you are liable to poke a massive hole through the cigar! DOH! ... needless to say this did NOT remove the knot, and yet also gave the Fun an extra blowhole.

I decided to salvage the cigar by cutting 2" off the fellow - making the lonsdale more of a corona...BUT at least it was smoking, and lasted over an hour! 41.gif Flavourwise it was a treat; spicy coffee with a dash of cream.

I also had a play with the off cuts:

All in all an eventful evening! eek.png
