'13 jl 1 last night. Best cigar of the year. I know JL can be a devisive marca, but the 1's are really delicious for me.

'14 vr famosos. Second best cigar of the year. This box has been excellent so far. Velvety, cocoa, earthy and a slight hint of berry. Like the DA's well respected younger brother.

An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

Punch DC. Average all the way through to the last third which was good. Had a few burn issues and the flavours were quite muted. Just left me wanting more.

Followed by a fantastic El Principe. Delivered exactly what I wanted.

I have to agree that the JL1s I've had from both 13 and 14 were as good as anything I smoked in 2015. I've just about gone through both boxes and intend to buy more as soon as the budget and storage space allow! Here's a picture of the last one I had about 2 weeks ago...

Beautiful day on the frac pad. Smokes not so much. Had a Open Junior this morning that was just plain meh. Now I'm fighting with a Fonseca with tight draw, uneven burn and tunnelling.

One of my favorite C&C's, 13 Partagas Habanero with a Papa Doble. Had another fantastic 13 RASCC yesterday but looking forward to a little warmer weather tomorrow to smoke something nicer, pre game.

I was reaching for a RyJ Short Churchill when I spilled a drop or three of water from my humidifier onto this:post-25986-0-18644700-1453590714_thumb.j

So I figured I'd better torch it before it developed issues.

We're just sitting here looking at the snow and contemplating life.

Cheers!

Had a #2 from the exact same code yesterday. How was yours? Mine improved much from 6 months ago but could still use some more age. Had a bit to much mongrel for my tastes, but still very enjoyable.

Bart smoked the No. 2 today while I had the RG PC. We split that box of 2s back in August and I haven't smoked one since the first one ROTT. I agree that they will definitely benefit from some down time. I don't plan to have another for a couple more months at least.
