I won't be taking pics in the crap that is coming. Kansas City area is expecting -25 below wind chills and 6-9 inches of snow this weekend..

Natural gas hitting $15/dth at Chicago city gate for tomo. It's gonna be an interesting 10 days or so with supply concerns from Tex/Ok and Utica shale plays with weather events of their own.

It’s actually going to be cold for us next week while you’re here. Hopefully, it will be warm to you. Enjoy your time with us in central Florida. This really is the best time of the year for us. No humidity. Temperatures can drop down below normal but nothing like what most of the country will be experiencing this weekend. It’s going to be quite rough for some people. And very dangerous with the temps and ice.

-27 this morning when I started my truck for the day. It's cold but nothing outrageous for us in this part of the world. Warming up to -6 for Sunday and if there is blue sky, it will be a lovely winter day.

-12 here. Nothing to show really. Just needed to put a coat on this morning to get the trash cans out to the curb. Roads are clear, heat's on, business as usual for us.

LOL, -12 in SW Tennessee and we literally shut down. Throw in a high probability for the "wintry mix" of sleet/snow and nobody leaves their house. The roads will be chaos since nobody here knows how to drive on a normal day, much less covered with the white stuff...

I drove on an icy road in Raleigh once. That is what it's like. I've heard the saying, "people in the South don't know how to drive in snow."  That's BS. The roads are so slick, there is zero traction, regardless of skill.

Calling for anywhere from 2 inches to a foot in Cincinnati area. We live to the south so hoping for no ice. I fly for a prominent cargo company and they are already cancelling a bunch of stuff (I’m on an airliner as we speak headed home). 

I was in the Dallas area yesterday and people were buzzing about it. I’m off 'til Sunday night so hoping for some bourbon and a cigar somehow.

I'm at the Big Sky Ski Resort in Montana with the usual cast of reprobates. Dire snow conditions at one of my favorite ski areas and the big storm isn't going to make it here this weekend. No matter, we made the best of it. Today was cold, 0 dF. Good thing itt was day 6 and we were whipped. because staying out there for a long day would of been tough.

I was planning to be in Steamboat this weekend but am headed down to Aspen for a better shot at the storm coming in tonight. Could be a very good snow day tomorrow for mid/southern Colorado…I imagine Aspen could get well over a foot of nice fluff. Definitely a fur coat night for the snowbunny lodge mama crowd.

Southern SC. You guys are lucky with snow. Just ice predicted here and there is NO sane driving on that stuff. I don't care what you drive. I have a pretty bad a** lifted four wheel drive and I won't even fire it up. I stay home!

But (always a but ) 2 generators, 55 gallons of gas, 300lbs of propane, assorted heaters, 35 bottles of bourbon, 74 bottles of wine, deep on cigars, tons of meat for the smoker, and an orange. You know, for health reasons.

House will be ok, AND the garage will be fine. Just another Saturday and Sunday night smoking in the garage. Teen temps keep me off the back porch even with my propane fire pit.

For you guys in Nashville ( I have family there ) your highs next week will be my lows, so there's that.

I'll be ok 😂

That saying is completely false, especially in rural areas like mine and in the mountains. You could say people who have only lived in the cities or aren't from here can't.
